For those that got this new reissue, congratulations, he looks gorgeous! For me, not having any MP scale Dinos, I’d been waiting on FT to do a reissue, and now that they have, at $300 each and all sold out in the same PIA FT way others have gone recently, I’ve now decided to go with Giga for my Dinos.

Are there any known QC issues with this reissue to look out for? I’ve heard about the tail being potentially breakable, but anything else?
Also, are you confident that the rest of the team will be reissued in the Chrome style? I’ve heard Snarl is “months away” but haven’t heard anything concrete about him, and nothing about the rest of the team.

 

I haven't heard much but I suggest to go to showz and place a pre-order on the rest of the team. I don't know if they have grassor left but I think terrytfsclub still has him.

 

Actually terrytfsclub is same price I think for some of the Giga and their better shipping option is cheaper than showz. I hear the sal by air is not the greatest so Terry's maybe an option for you. They gave grassor as well.

 

I got Slug/Grassor through Terry's TFs. Seemed to be one of the cheaper options and took less than 2 weeks to arrive once shipped. I've since ordered 3 of the remaining Gigapower bots from him (hoping red Swoop will be coming, but they just put up the blue for PO).

Confident as anything in the 3p world. GP does Gundam kits or something most of the time, but they seem committed to these and they sell like crazy places like ShowZ. Good incentive to finish the set.

Their Snarl (Guttur) should come out at the end of July in China. They're coming at a slow pace (one every couple months) but they're coming.

 

Snarl is rumored to be out end July, according to ShowZ.

 

I could be wrong but it seems that ShowZ adds the full price to a preorder and the deposit amount goes up as well when they get more concrete info that a bot is coming. For a while Slag and Snarl only had full price then closer to Slags release Grimlock and Sludge had their prices updated. Swoop is the only one to get final price. I took this as 4 of 5 were confirmed so far.

 

Snarl will be a tight fit though; probably will need Wheeljack sitting on top of Sludge or something haha.

Noticed that too, is it random how many weeks it takes before an item will be availabe then?

 

I would think they have received some info that they are coming so they switch the status. I've seen items come in quick after being listed incoming but also take a long time. With Grassor it was 1 month from when I got my notice to pay and it went incoming to when it shipped. I think it was 2 weeks into that month that it was listed as in stock then shipped 2 weeks later for me due to where I was in the list of paid orders. Then we got to deal with the return thing so all that didnt matter anyway. What's weird is they just said a few days ago late July for Guttur and now incoming!?! That's a little long in my opinion to list incoming if it really is late July so I'm hoping things changed for the better and they are close to getting them.

 

Thanks for the explanation! First few times I've ordered from them, so I'm kinda green on their statuses. I believe the estimate was end July, but sooner is always better. On the other hand, it also could mean early August.

 

ShowZ sent me an invoice to pay for the balance due on my Grassor pre-order on April 2nd, the day their listing switched from Pre-Order to Incoming.
Grassor didn't ship start its shipping journey until May 9th... That's over a month later.

Hoping that Guttur has a shorter wait.

 

Good to know. I'm going to pay off the balance next week I think.

 

I already have Guttur paid off but has anyone even gotten their notice to pay up yet? Seems odd it's switched to incoming if they haven't asked for payment yet.

 

Maybe it came late in Saturday, and they pick it up next Monday or early next week.

 

I noticed that as well. Figured I might as well be pro-active and pay the remainder of my pre-order before getting an email telling me to do so.  

 

Are most of you risking the free SAL shipping this time or did y’all spring the extra $40 or so for expedited shipping? After the ordeal of Grassor I’m unsure I want to use SAL again but the extra shipping cost is hard to swallow.
