Results may vary by store, but in my area it’s more an issue of getting someone on the phone.

The message that they won’t check inventory isn’t 100% adhered to. From what I could tell that was from the COVID toilet paper and VG console wars. If I can reach the electronics dept., they’ll usually at least look up by DPCI but generally don’t hold anything. I’m fine with that as all I need to know is whether it’s worth a trip.

But the more prevalent problem here is getting electronic sections to answer. I’d call customer service, but they’re usually more likely to resist looking stuff up.

College Grove Walmart has 2 NF Cheetors, 2 Sparkless Bots, 2 Deep Covers, a Deseeus Drone, and a “Crankcase”.

College Grove Target is Buzzworthy, a Dinobot, and 5 Grimlocks. Ross nearby has nothing.

Mission Valley Target has 2 CoreScreams and 2 Blackarachnias.

Sports Arena Target has 3 B-127s, a Dino, 4 Grimlocks, and 2 Ultra Magnuses. Ross nearby has nothing.

Clairemont Walmart has a CoreScream, 2 Core Megatrons, Kingdom Wave 1 Deluxes (2x of each), and the 5 Grimlocks behind a glass case.

Othello Target has a bunch of Cyberverse and Buzzworthy, a Vertebreak, 2 CoreScreams, a Cyclonus, and a Grimlock.

Balboa Target has nothing (unless you enjoy sparse Cyberverse toys).

 

Cupertino Target has MOTU Masterverse Battle Cat. It's in the back. I asked the guy at electronics and he brought it out. It's huuuge.

Was just coming on here to report that too - found an endcap shelf full of them at Pleasant Hill Target.

Box is a foot long (that’s what she said), it’s pretty heavy and I’ve heard nothing but good reviews about it.

Has anyone seen or reported on the rerelease of the Cobra Island Wave 1 in California or the West coast yet?

 

Nope, I think it was just inventory bought/redirected from a direct competitor overseas. It went to the Middle-East and Eastern states in abundance just like when it was first released. If we get any they will probably be partial cases.

 

Nothing at Stonestown Target except the Kingdom Wave 1 they refuse to put on clearance.

is San Jose Super Toy Show at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds still around?

I mean I know we are in a pandemic and all the crazy restrictions, but the last time I attended that toy show was like 8 years ago.

 

A show was supposed to happen in early June. But, it was postponed due to the pandemic. Can’t wait for the next show.
