I remember when they started that and Speedpak took months. People would beg sellers on eBay not to use it.

And now I'm all like "Please, please, PLEASE send it Speedpak!"

 

I can confirm that. SpeedPak is indeed very fast. I can only advice, if Ebay Sellers offer this, USE it. It is fast and Trackable.

 

Hm, ok, transformed him. I'm not seeing a spot where I can put the gun in Alt-mode. Am I just missing it? Anyone who has him know?

Got my Lucifer yesterday. He is the one I was least excited about, mostly because the color yellow offends me and shouldn’t exist (man oh man, do I hate Bumblebee), but he is easily my favorite of the four, he is fantastic. He would not stand the way his feet were transformed in the box, though, I’m not sure if his talons are *supposed* to be out in robot mode, but for me, they have to be for him to stand at all. His wings are very cool, and in general, I think most of the pics have not done him justice at all.

 

Got him earlier today. I had him as a kid so getting an updated version was very exciting to me. I have not transformed him yet, so it's hard to say right now whether he is as good as Leviathan. He is a bot with wings though, so his presence is the best among the four. The one thing I dislike is how they designed the shin guards. It's obvious there should be a clipping mechanism to hold them in place in bot mode.

 

The feet? I had to push the talons up on their hinge. After that, my bot has no trouble standing.

 

Anyone get a shipping notice from showz yet. I have to check my emails, but I think he is still a week or 2 out according to what they are saying.

 

He’s no longer ‘incoming’ but in stock. I’d expect a notification sometime early next week.

How can you people spend 400 bucks on the limbs and not even know what Hungrrr looks like or what the combined mode will be like?? It's been 4 years and still nothing.

"Picture" in our Heads. They are all Modernized. So you KNOW that you get a Modernized Hung Gurr and a Modernized Combiner.

When Cang Toys RazorClaw for Predaking
was revealed, I was like

Why not? The individual bots are amazing.

 

Because, aside from (oddly enough) Poseidon, I've owned every combiner TFC have put out over the years, and many of their individual figures and upgrades. Even if I don't know what their core bot looks like yet, I know what all their limbs look like, and thus far, it's been the norm for them, so I have no reason to doubt them, even absent an actual image.

The same wouldn't really apply with Cang Toys Thunderking, I only know their work mostly by the reputation of their designers, and their first 3 releases all look incredible to me, so even if the final combiner somehow turns out to be trash, thus far, the individual bots have been worth the investment as standalones.

 

Just received the shipping noticed from ShowZ today.

 

I didn't get in on this set until 3/5 of it were available and reviewed... sold my Ordin to do so, too. With the prices I found, Lucifer will be the first one I've technically been actually paying anything out of pocket for... that's pretty much my "how."
Also, $400 over 4 years is only $8.33 per month.
Of course this wouldn't be the only thing purchased in that time, and MAN am I ever ready to complete this set, but the fact that it is taking this long does make it easier on the budget. "Silver linings" I guess...

 

I’m expecting a deviation (or inversion) from Hun Gurrr’s typical bot look. Maybe enough to somewhat split the fan base, but not as extreme as Cang’s RazorClaw did.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like dragon head hands instead of dragon head feet, for example (I’d hate that, btw).

 

I wish Hun Gurrr didn't go to that route... dragon heads becomes feet is kind of his signature, just like Optimus Prime's window chest, or Megatron's right hand Cannon.
