Did you get your instructions with your copy? I’ve seen the videos, and I’ve been wondering if they can be folded the other way, which seems like it could be easier…

Well there you go… is there clearance to turn them the other way, or is it even worse? Also would you mind sending me yours, for, uhm, science?

    Wahaha
Hmm there’s no clearance for it to go the other way. The foot will get stuck because of how the hinges work.

I really hate to bump a news thread when I have no actual NEWS to add, but I wasn't sure where else to ask. When the hell is this dude supposed to hit stores? Kingdom Rhinox and Galvatron have been spotted before this guy and they're not slated until July, but I've heard virtually nothing on people finding Tracks early.

Hi all, got my Tracks a few days ago. Decided to touch up mine using the MP as a reference. I concur with the poor design in the legs. Did a fix with layering superglue on the tabs holding the legs so it somewhat stays in place in robot mode. The clear plastic does pose a concern but it seems they used clouded clear plastic so it might be a wee bit sturdier. Overall, after touching up and clear coating it, I dig this figure even more.

What Kind of superglue you use? I had bad luck with superglue. Is there any alternative to fix?

Gorgeous paintwork. As meh as I still feel about this figure overall, this makes me look forward to getting him and painting mine similarly.

Remember that core, deluxes, voyagers, and leaders are shipped in separate cases. So far no wave 3 deluxe figures have been spotted in the USA. Voyagers were spotted first in US, then Leaders, and finally core figures so deluxes should show up soon on the west coast. Officially, the entire wave 3 for all the figures on hasbropulse have a 9/1 release date.

Hmm I layer it with a toothpick and then wait for it to harden. Repeat process until it feels right. If too thick, sand it down so it fits unto the port.

Got Tracks in today. This is the worst mold I've handled from the WFC Trilogy. Tabs that don't tab in, a difficult tab to unlock in alt mode, loose hips, knees, and ankles.

I hate that this figure is so disappointing because I really wanted to love it. The leg side panels are untenable in both modes and transformation is not enjoyable--- a trifecta of unforgivable sins.

So, any chance Hasbro is going to introduce a running change for Tracks? The fact that the side panels along the front of the car can't tab in fully and hang there with gaps is a real defect, in my opinion. I just hate waiting and trying to buy a more functional replacement.

Got Tracks yesterday as well, and the reports aren't exaggerated. He's pretty awful. He's floppy, the legs just don't hold together (whether in robot mode or as the side panels of the car) and the leg/hood transformation is just fiddly and counter-intuitive.

He's like the polar opposite of the Siege Datsun mold, to me. That mold looked (IMO) pretty ugly in both molds, but its transformation was fun and intuitive and buttery-smooth, and it held together well. Tracks looks nice visually in both modes, but is just a mess of a figure in terms of transformation and tolerances. He's a bit of a bummer, but he'll just be one of those figures who stands there looking pretty and never gets moved or transformed. Just shelf candy... a real himbo.

And here's to hoping for a running change or at least some tweaks to the mold to make Road Rage turn out a little better.

Tracks is misassembled from the factory. Looking at pics online, it seems like every copy may be like this.

The tail fins are swapped. They're sculpted to match the curve of the back of the car when folded down, but out of the box they curve the wrong way. They can easily be popped off, swapped, and reinstalled to give the intended smooth curve across the back of the car. This was first noticed by @skunkobot in the Tracks review thread.

I really wanted to like this figure and was about to sell my MP-Tracks as I never opened it. After seeing the reviews, I pulled the listing, have decided to keep MP Tracks and just cancelled my Kingdom version.

image.jpg For those complaining about the tabbing in of the fenders in alt mode check the upper bicep area. It’s hidden by his tires in bot mode. Got mine over the weekend and had the same tanning issues but also noticed the left arm did not go as close to his body as the right one did. When I looked the left upper bicep piece was the same as the right upper bicep piece. That piece has a raised area that is susposed to point away from his body. But the left side pointed towards his body. Got dremmel out and sand it down and now everything fits better. To the point where the fenders are held in place by the tabs now. image.jpg image.jpg

My G1 Autobot shelf is now an intentional mix and match of CHUG and WFC figures, based on various factors... and RTS Tracks is actually one of the ones who's remaining. Even if he is a bit pot-bellied, I just find this new one really frail looking, and I'm sure he'll feel frail in-hand.

The line whose CHUG figures have been almost completely wiped out on my shelf is Universe 2.0 - Ironhide and Ratchet, the Datsun Trio, and soon the Lambo Trio (I actually really like their look, but they dwarf all the other Carbots on my shelf) have all been replaced. The only one who's left is Hound, who is wonderful. And Inferno and Grapple.
