I don’t think the first pair will ship until mid July. I’ll be happily surprised if that’s not the case though.

Chosen Prime has the first two MS constructions up for preorder at $100. So it's looking that Newage and MS will be around the same price.

While the first NA set and the first MS set are both $99 in the North American stores, don't forget NA Scrapper/Mixmaster go for $110 and Hook/Longhaul for $115, plus the $79 combiner parts. So the NA set in total is just over $400. So for them to come out the same in the end, the last two MS sets would have to be $150 each, which is unlikely.

MS said their sets do come with the combiner parts, and Scrapper/Mixmaster likely come with the pants, which seems to be the biggest piece. But even if they switch it up and the first set comes with different combiner parts and something else comes with the pants and that ends up costing more, I can see that being maybe $150 at most (but I doubt it). And there would be no reason for the final set to be as much. I mean, making the shiny, happy assumption, and they're all $99, then MS is $100 cheaper. But I'm skeptical they will all be $99. Even then, I feel at most it will end up being $50 cheaper than NA.

Eh, I'm gonna get both anyways.

Well maybe this anecdote counts as positive: I'm going in on the NA one before MS because MS' business tactics have really soured me as of late. Now I'll preface this by saying BOTH companies are guilty of this in the past, but MS has been bad lately. In NA's case, it's clear now that they realized how far ahead MS was with their Stunticons so I'm pretty sure they've shelved theirs for now to try and beat them to the Constructicons, hence them having 2 sets basically ready to ship and MS still trying to compete by showing the same unpainted prototypes over and over in some attempt to catch up instead of moving on to one of the myriad of G1 characters they haven't made yet. This is the same reason why NA is likely just now working on their Optimus, they were waiting on MS Light of Justice sales to die down some so there was more of a market, and what does MS do? More unpainted prototypes of Light of Justice 2.0...instead of giving us a Gears, or a Windcharger, or Ratchet and Ironhide, or the Insecticons, or finishing their Datsuns... The point is, neither company is gonna drive the other out of business so find a way to coexist and your consumers will love you all the more for it. So yeah, I'm likely in on NA Devy even though I prefer MS' torso proportions because of business tactics.

Actually on Taobao, MS Devastator (1155 RMB for 3 sets) is slightly more expensive than Newage one (1086 RMB for 4 sets). NA might be more expensive on other international sites as they have more sets hence more shipping cost.

Depends were you are, Paypal NL is just 1 big mess, taking money from peoples acount, people not getting acces to their acount.
No customer service for more than a year and a half, no office here any more.
They always side with the store, so you can kiss your money goodbye if anything happends or spend the expensive shipping cost to China before getting your money back.
Wich is worthles to do, they say they cover the cost on the phone but when you check paypal's site that is only for local parcels not international.
Paypal has become 1 big scam.

In terms of price comparison, yes.

I don't trust paypal with anything. Their security and customer service are complete ass.

Damn. That's a shame. I honestly shy away from retailer that don't accept Paypal, but I'm in the states. I'd sooner trust PayPal than my one credit card, or even my bank. At least with PayPal, if a seller screws me or something gets lost on the mail, they'll back me.

It's too bad they let their reputation in other countries go to crap. That's enough to make me rethink my business.

That's a shame you've had negative experiences with PayPal NL, always sucks.
On the other hand, I filed 2 cases with PayPal NL, in which I was scammed and both cases PayPal got my money back, all of it.
Great communication and really helpful, so my experience is only 100% positive and I always use PayPal.

Again, sorry to hear you've had negative experiences.

It’s also the payment method of choice in the Vatican City - it’s why they call that country ‘The PayPal State’.
