Managed to get Barbecue and Breaker in cart. Had both in cart then it said Breaker was sold out but I went back in and it showed Breaker available for preorder again and it let me check out with him the second time through on Pulse.

No, they put a two week hold on your card then they drop it until it comes in.

I’ll probably cancel the second Barbecue when one arrives but I’ll keep both Rams and maybe try another head on one of the Breakers and see if I can make another one of the original Green Shirt Joes.

 

Was able to order one on Target. I'll just need one for me when they hit mass release.

Edit: ordered a Barbecue too. I cannot emphasize how night and day this acquisition has been to previous experiences.

 

I’m surprised they are still available to preorder on Target. It’s a good surprise. Hopefully everyone that’s wants them are able to get a preorder in through Target.

 

Same here. I kid you not, I was expecting both to be sold out since that processing wheel took about 7 minutes before my order completed.

...and then they periodically hit it multiple times until it ships. I found this out when I'd used a checking/debit card for a preorder, and every few weeks a "hold" of $27 showed up in my bank statement. The problem is, that $27 is unavailable to you during those few days.

You're right, it was a poor choice of words on my part. But whatever the word is for making something initially available only to paid memberships, in low quantities that sell out in minutes, then repeat that process weeks later under the same conditions, that's what Pulse is doing. And you know what? I'd be totally fine with it if they just came out and said "Premium Members Only". But they don't.
