At the time of writing (which Hasbro fixed a few minutes after that post was written) Pulse would actively remove it from the basket at checkout as it was listed “out of stock”.

If like me, any of you fine folk ordered the cheap reissue G1 Astrotrain on Zavvi, I have an update (of sorts) for you.

    So they blame Hasbro.

Today's #deskbots have been pestering me for an insect related pun but I can't think of one.

    It's really bugging me.

    Legends Kickback, Bombshell and Shrapnel.

Really enjoying this guy. Puts the TR mold to shame.

@SJW I'd buy Chromedome off you but I'm a bit hard of cash at the moment.

Dug these guys out of retirement for my Cyberverse display:

Good to give them a new lease of life.

Congrats on getting ze dose. 5G fully enabled!

I'm torn on T-Wrecks. I have the original, and love it, but not sure if I need this repaint? I had hoped the head would have been the mutant mask or something. I'm telling myself I don't need it, the same way I told myself I didn't need Soundblaster or Nemesis Prime. (and I totally have those guys coming)

Bad craic. This is why I hate clear plastic being used around pin joints. Hopefully someone can offer a solution?

    I was thinking booger-storm?
    He looks pretty.

Glad you were able to find Highbrow at a more reasonable price.

Anyone else willing to buy a double-sized issue that is just Marvel Kup introducing Autobots? He's delightfully savage.

"The fella behind me who looks like he couldn't keep the matrix out of decepticon hands for more than an afternoon is Ultra Magnus."

    Oh you.
I try not to let it bug me that those three have different shades of yellow used on them - or in kickback's case transparent yellow. I always suspected Hasbro mismatched them on purpose so they could sell us a 3-pack down the line with a more unified colour scheme.

    Surprisingly good guess!

I was gentle, no force was used IMHO, but I know they can be brittle.

Any ideas on the correct kind of glue to use? I will likely only get one shot at the repair and the wrong glue could be a disaster!

Me too! I usually avoid clear figures, but I took the punt.

    Only if you wrote it!

I gasped. Underneath that affable exterior of yours, Brian, beats the heart of a monster! I'm into it.

Well, the time you mentioned sounded about right, it was either that or the stunning BT Mirage

which joint was it that broke?

you could use super glue or poly cement, the cement actually melts plastic together so might not be desirable, super glue may be a better idea but be aware that it won’t be a perfect reconstruction. When doing so it may be worth lightly sanding the parts that come into direct contact with the pin so that there is less friction there to give the plastic more of a chance

And write it I will! IDW, best contact me with your rate :p  We'll need an artist adept at drawing crying Autobots big man!

I might indeed be a monster. I have a tendancy to hide under beds and jump out of cupboards scaring people.

I am the coffee sweet in the bag of revels. Monstrous to many, but delightful to some.

I still haven't forgiven Mars for replacing the peanut one with raisins. They are the true monsters.

I think I'm going to pass. I'm not a huge fan of that sort of shade of green, except on my TFP Bulkhead I guess but he benefits from being a character I loved. Probably for the best. Granted I may have more difficulty passing up some of the other colours from the film :lol

Thing is, considering none of the Seekers were named in the film, no reason he can't be Acid Storm. Does make me wonder though why they'd release this guy as thrust when they just had red Thrust, especially as this guy isn't red. I know about the Armada Thrust reference but it still seems a bit obscure for me.

    ...

Random thought I had just now... it'd be kind of neat if Hasbro were to right a 30+ year old injustice and release a G1 style Arcee toy in the Reissue line :D

Precisely my thinking. And the colours don't put me in mind of Armada Thrust either. Just another Seeker, and I am here for it.

I would love to see alot of the cancelled toys and concepts from back then get some kind of release, some of them looked really cool.

Best we'll ever get is maybe a prototype arceee recolour of ER Arcee. Orrr a Arcee coloured Chromedome for a larf.

    Primus love's a chancer.

Welp, right in the midst of clear-coating Sandy's new water slide decals (one of the "CAUTION" details peeled a bit, and I'd moist-tamped it back down when spotted but it's crinkled some on clear coat application so, uh, "some weathering/battle damage", eh? It's still legible, and water slides are so...let's say, "demanding", I reckon I can live with it!) when a sturdy knock on the door heralded the arrival of the DK Foot/Ankle/Groin kit!

Absolutely no notice from Hermes but, Eff it, it's here, and not "attempted delivery" while I'm in work tomorrow!

Tried the new hips out with the stock springs, as going by Emgo's review I didn't see him swap them out, but on a quick swizz into robot mode they seemed a little worryingly easy to move, so the upgrade springs are now in but a full robot mode test with the big lad & the new springs is gonna be left to the weekend! Let 'em settle in a bit first. From test one on the stock springs the extra increments are quite handy though, if it wasn't another £40-£50 for more feet I'm not fussed about just to get the hips I'd be tempted to upgrade 'Plex too!
In the end up I even got use out of a couple of screw cap cover to boot, and I may occasionally break out the tilting boots for posing for snaps in the Future but for now they can stay boxed. And 6hk666666 makes the "Reliable Seller" list!(For now)

I got a similar repose when asking about Scourge from Smyth's. Basically they have given up trying to guess when it'll come in due to delays and that's even if they get it. But granted they didn't used those words.
