Loving the look of those colours even more - hoping they look as good (or better!!) in hand!

 

The toy color one is probably my favorite out of all releases so far. The clear canopy does so much. It's a shame it's painted on the toon color version Starscream.
Wonder if they'll eventually give us a clear orange canopy.

 

How is the wasit in it? Tighter than earlier releases or still floppy?

 

All the joints are solid, especially the waist/ab crunch. The die-cast thrusters & feet have no negative impact on stability like they did on their first starscream.

Pretty sure you’ll like the colors in hand much more than in pictures. The red has an orange/pink tone to it, and the blue & green touches work well with the purple. A unique splash of clash

 

And you are absolutely correct mate - love it already.

And as an aside, I love the red on Red Wing also - two cracking efforts from NA and the waists don't seem as loose as on some of the earlier versions of this mold. They also seem to stand better and seem less prone to falling backwards.  

 

Negative impact on Stability?

My, as well as others, initial release of starscream is floppy at the waist/ab crunch and hips. The weight of the die cast only makes the issue worse. Standing without falling backwards is an accomplishment with that figure. None of those issues are present on this release

 

Ah I understand. I thought maybe they were not molded correctly or had an problem with the shaping.

 

I've got a couple of quick questions for you Seekers connoisseurs.  

While I'm waiting for my original trio to arrive - along with NA Coneheads - I also bought from a local retailer Acidstorm and Sunstorm.
What are the remaining G1 recolors that appeared in the cartoon, folks? I believe Hotlink is one... What about Redwing?

You are correct with Hotlink mate, but i don’t recall Redwing ever being in the original cartoon… will be happy to be proven wrong mind..  

 

Depends if you consider Ghost Starscream different than Regular Starscream and if you consider Golden Lagoon different. Redwing is beautiful, but was never in the G1 cartoon to my knowledge.

 

Wait, are you asking which of the NA Seekers were on the cartoon, or what other seekers were on the cartoon besides the one you mentioned?
If its the former, as other folks have mentioned, Redwing wasn't in the cartoon. But yeah, Acid Storm, Sunstorm, and Hotlink were the remaining NA Seekers that were featured in the cartoon. Well, Golden Lagoon and Ghost Starscream too if you're going by deco and not unique characters. Hodur is based on an E-Hobby re-release of the original G1 mold in Machine War colors and Shazam is of course the European Thundercracker Action Master coloring that was repurposed for Shattered Glass.

If it was the latter, than besides the aforementioned there's Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Bitstream, and Nacelle. But yeah, as I've said in this thread before, if they keep making decos, I'll keep buying 'em! I would be over the moon if the do those, G2 Starscream and Ramjet, Sandstorm, and SG Dirge. NA has always been great with the decos, so I'm sure those would all look great.

You're right, I worded it pretty badly. It was the former.  
As I'm not into unique appearances enough to want Ghost and Golden Lagoon Strarscream, I'll stick with Hotlink for now.

That said, I'm with you and ready to buy the remaining four - Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Bitstream, and Nacelle - in a heartbeat, if NA ever releases them.

 

Loving the colours on this versions - the SG Thundercracker just looks awesome!!

And he looks great with his SG companions... although Ironhide is looking a bit out numbered!!!

 

That's my only complaint. I got a Samael (Skywarp) at the start of last year and aside from the waist, it's a perfect figure.

 

Did your Redwing come with cape and flight stand?
