After 20+ years of being a PlayStation fan, I joined the dark side. That’s right. I got myself an Xbox Series S. Game Pass, backwards compatibility, and free multiplayer were too good to pass up

 

Glad to see you enjoy it. As an Xbox fan I plan on getting the PS5.

 

I will be getting a PS5 too, just further down the line

 

I got all three... My poor PS5 hasn't been touched in months.

 

Same, I’m building up savings so I’ll definitely be able to get one the end of the year at the earliest.

Though I wish file transfers weren’t such a bother.

I mean Xbox has NONE of that.

 

I have PS5.. Just lately all my playtime is on Switch and XSX.

 

I happen to see these on a Walmart run.

 

Yeah.. but those are the S.. Only thing they are really good for is Emulation machine!  

 

That's the 1st time I've seen a X/S, PS5 in any store. And trust me in a 15 mile radius I have 5 Target's, 4 WM's, 2 BB and 2 Pc Richard's (local NY, NJ, East Pennsylvania store)

When the next Gen consoles are finally in stock next year regularly (probably) I’m going to probably get an XBox Series X. Game Pass has sold me on it after years of being a PlayStation Guy.

 

Game pass has sold me on not needing a next generation console honestly, especially since xcloud is supposed to come to Xbox one as well as already being on Android and pc

 

I think I saw the Series X will be coming back in stock soon. As a fellow PlayStation guy who recently switched over to Series S, I don’t regret that decision one bit. The Series S and GamePass are an excellent value. I can now play more new games in a year for less than I would have spent buying them all at full price. It’s the future. Xbox has some exciting exclusives coming up outside of Halo and Forza in Hellblade and Indiana Jones. On the plus side, the two PlayStation games I’m most looking forward to are Horizon: Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok; which are both coming to PS4 as well, so it’s not like I’m cutting myself off from those games.

 

hey have a limited restock in GameStop today but I was under the impression that they can’t make them fast enough still and won’t be able to till the the end of the year due to supply issues of components.

I hope they come in stock sooner. I want to get on the next Gen bandwagon!

Killer Instinct? Yeah.
The library is lacking right now, I'm just waiting until Microsoft irons out the hardware and the library improves.

 

Personally between Windows11, the Steam Deck and Xbox Game Pass (especially cloud gaming) I'm in no rush to get a series console. All of their exclusive 1st party games will go to Windows and/or the cloud and with the Steam Deck I'll be able to play them portably.
