Roadking doesn't actually have that much die cast by FT standards. It's almost entirely in his feet, but he is a very big bot and is very plastic-dense in bot mode.

The only thing that would worry me about him for combiner purposes is how much sticks out the back. If he condenses all the way in like the dx9, no problem. But if menasor winds up with a roadking-leg backpack, then that could be bad for the hip joints.

 

He is not going to stick out the back I think. His arms become the piles you see on Menasor's shoulders and his legs go on the side instead of the back. I think someone did a very good guess on how it's all going to look like.

Looking at those pictures it doesn't look like much of road king will be inside the combiner does it, wonder what will be holding him in place?

Maybe someone already thought of this, but I'm thinking the FT Menasor trailer needs to be much wider and taller than the trailer already on Roadking. Perhaps a portion of it fits over the Roadking trailer or something. If it's going to be the same width/height as the Roadking trailer, it would need to be super long and we'd be talking about some sort of train-bot here.

I think Fans Toys should just cancel the Menasor form and just release Bandit so people can have the Stunticons displayed in bot or vehicle mode. I love heft as much as the next guy but even I don't think I'd want a Manasor that heavy. They've kind of engineered themselves into a box here.

As for me, I have a DX9 Dead End on the way to finish off my "FT" Stunticon team and I'll be OK when I miss out on preorders for Bandit. (I mean, I'll try to preorder Bandit, but I don't expect I'll be able to)

 

That was the same idea I had and mentioned many, many pages back... I think the combined trailer will fit over or somehow attach to RKs trailer... maybe you do a partial transformation of RKs trailer to make it more compact (remember the thing is like paper origami to begin with)... and attach it to the new combined mode trailer.

I hope the Menasor frame is all die cast or like 70% die cast... with metal ratchets everywhere. Do it right!!!

I could care less if the thing weighs 30 pounds (13.6 Kg) either.
