yeah i think matty has nailed it on the head really, are the other options as good?

simple honest answer is no, for me
im in for badcubes, but if fanstoys announced a reissue or somebody else was gonna do these with the year i'd hold off, but for now badcubes will do, would i change set after buying them it depends on price and quality

 

flawed? wat is flawed, they loo perfect, and TE toon-like offerings arnt going to do it for those of us who are wanting versions of these characters with chrome and other G1 toy aesthetics like clear orange cockpit chests, sticker details etc.

I had this set and eventually sold them because I needed the money.

I was bummed, but gave MMC's a go at $99 and actually enjoy that set way more. If nothing else they're better engineered and just more fun. I tthink they look great too, personally.

 

Time to re-ignite this thread for the folks who missed the reissue?

My new Bombshell arrived 2 days ago, and it looks great. Can someone tell me exactly what are the changes of this version "T" compared to the original?

The T version stood for Toy so it has the purple chest instead of grey … it’s the version I went with, but I did the clear chest pieces.

 

So these reissues are the same as originals from FT? No changes?

 

Bombshell has mold changes.
Shrapnell has some changes in coloring.

Don't know anything about the last one yet.

They don't have faceplates for Grenadier or Mercenary. Forager has one built into his head

 

No I mean he has no face. I tried to upload a pic but for some reason it didnt upload

 

I haven't heard about the other two, but on Bombshell there is an extra tab to lock/unlock the yellow circles on the sides of his torso which rotate 90 degrees during transformation. On the original they were just friction and a bit of a pain to rotate. On the reissue they appear to rotate freely when the tab is unlocked.
