I AM NEGAN! oops!...wrong genre! This is Stunticon 4 of 5. BREAKDOWN. This guy has been in the works for quite a while, I'm just now getting around to adding the final details. I pretty much love anything Zombie...and knowing I didn't want this guy in his traditional "G1" colors, I decided to base his paintwork off of the Zombie Wars version. I painted him as close as possible to match in vehicle mode, with a few liberties here and there. Its the same recipe, a RTS Jazz donated the body, Combiner Wars Off Road donated his head, the axe weapon is Combiner Wars as well. The baseball bat, originally a keychain, is from eBay, as are the decals. The main color is Krylon Matte Blue Ink, with Cherry Red on the rear spoiler, added some detail painting here and there in bot mode, again following the source, albeit with some "tweaks", PK style. Not by the hair on my chinny, chin, chin. I admit I thought he'd be a wolf bot custom from a Steel Jaw, or Thunderhowl. I like his colors.
Looks really good. I like the real racing decals and the muted color palette. RTS Jazz. Menasor will be an oversized KO of RTS Jazz that all of the RTS Jazz's attach to, to form an even bigger RTS Jazz.
Loved Prime's take on Breakdown, I love zombies, I love anything to do with Prime Breakdown, and this custom just bursts story ideas to me. The thread's title and the idea of a Prime Breakdown done in a CHUG-Neo G1 style (other than the Zombie War Breakdown from UW, which is still an amazing take on the character) just gives me the impression that he's fast, brutish and, despite his size, ready to take any Autobot on. Threatening but also charming. So many ideas from this one custom alone! Long story short: The custom is really amazing!
