I don’t care for the blurriness of the sculpt.

 

This one looks like it will be amazing! Hard to pass on, but the $$$ and space requirements are going to be tough to justify. I did order their Windblade, so we'll see.

Looking forward to the full reveal.

What a fuckin' tease.   I like what I can see, especially that giant geometric chest on top of the more shapely midsection and thighs. Reminds me of WFC/FOC Shockwave, it even looks to have a similar arm cannon.

 

I swore off statues with the Prime Studio one release. This looks like it’s something I might need though…

 

I've always loved the WFC Shockwave design. Why are all the cool reinterpretations of G1 always restricted to statues, these days?

 

maybe it will be cool to look at, but given those price with statues....maybe one day if there is nothing else better to get

God damn that's beautiful.

 

Looks really nice, but my favorite statue of him is still Prime 1 Studio Movie Shockwave.

 

I've avoided Azure statues so far... This one is going to be hard to ignore though.

I would have preferred a more G1 looking gun and legs... but it's still pretty awesome.

I do think Azure is going to be my best chance at getting a Brainstorm statue.. fingers are well and truly crossed for that one.

 

It does come with a swap out more G1 looking gun.

 

Technically it seems based on the comics where Shockwave, at one point, had his game design. The empty head and spare G1-style cannon heavily imply this is meant to specifically be IDW1 Shockwave. (the same way Windblade was based off IDW1 Windblade where she fought Cutthroat)
