I actually did pay for it and get a shipping notification already for forager. However for Mercenary, myself and others and paid for it, it had actually been shipped, and we did not get a notification. I got one from them that had already been in the mail for almost a week after I emailed them about it. So I would say if you don’t see one in the next day or two it’s worth sending them a message

 

Anyone know of a place that still has FT Acoustic Wave for preorder?

 

My insection set from AgesThreeAndUp is all paid for and will be shipping this week it looks like. Originally they showed me paying for each figure separately 1 per month until July but I got the invoice for Forager on Friday.

 

The Insecticons seems to be released at a pretty fast pace.

 

They are swarming across the world.

Yeah, I'm happy to have them but, and I'm sure I'm in a massive minority here, I was happy w/ the previous release schedule of 1/ month for 3 months. This has been a big wallet smack.

Just a question, but when did this become the general FT feedback thread?? … it used to be hyper-focused abt future releases, now it’s just “I got x” (like we give a fuck lol) … I apologize in advance if I am a tad crude, but I always try to express the unstated sentiments of the masses (remember, lurkers outnumber posters 3 to 1 at a min.)

I mean why have multiple threads for very specific talks about one company? Yeah it was made for spreading the word on future releases and seeing their full roster, but besides the occasional buisness or political detour, it's evolved to a place for collectors to come and talk about their figures. New people who come in probably get a better idea of if they want to collect these or not, i hope.

 

Yeah, and that's how I've been using it, more like a general FT discussion thread and I myself do like it this way (I sometimes duplicate posts in specific products threads, but I try to keep that a minimum).

Also, FT already has a lot of information and rumors spread across the web and across TFW, so it's good to have something like a one place to go if you really want to get a general hold of the situation (not that the forum scheme helps with information spread, but that's the reason I begun my blog, to try and summary all the information, in particular, from the discussion on this topic).

 

I've also paid for two more POs in China for Forager, still need to pay for one, I think.

 

Agreed, and I think the main problem is that it's unexpected, because they mentioned something (1 per month) then released everything together. Well, not a problem if you paid in full, but for those who did not, you suddenly had a lot of extra money to pay.

Anyway, I think this probably due to one or some of the following:
- FT was trying to get factory time but could not do that before, but ended up getting more time before expected;
- FT was not expecting the response so they ended up speeding things up after (I doubt it, because they knew they would sold out);
- FT changed (again) some of their plans for the year (probably slightly) so it can accommodate the bugs until June, Springer reissue in July (already confirmed by several sources), and god knows what till November/December.

This bear in mind the question, what will we get in August/September/October? From the last reissue announcements, I think we should already need to right the info on August right now, and we still don't have it yet.

 

Yeah, I definitely had to scramble a bit d/t the bug hurry up. Taking nice advantage of my PayPal credit line. But this definitely made me juggle some other preorders and that Pumpkin Unicron is starting to look a bit iffy.

 

A store in China just confirmed that FT-14 Forager will arrive next Sunday there.

 

Just as general info, there seems to be a lot of used Lupus being sold in China, prices are between 300-350 USD. I think people are fearing a possible reprint  

 

Just got my notice from Bombusbee that Forager is on his way! Mercenary is very close and will be here this week too. It will be nice to not have to worry about Insecticons anymore unless I decide to keep my PO for the Badcube bugs.

 

I think Lupus would be a perfect reprint because of Chomp, but Dracula could easily be found in China until last year. I don't think FT would reprint something that they do not know will sell out quickly.
