I meant to note that the two Galvatrons I got at South Lebanon seemed to be ones with the proper shoulders
The shoulders are slightly raised on the figure. Its not super noticable but I guess people complained they were too low in the reveal pics so HasTak modified the shoulders to sit higher. I didn’t know the difference either until I did more research last night
It's not that. Its that theyre misassembled on the early units. Early units and the one in the photos have the arms attached to the shoulders upside down. Early units had the top of the shoulder with the more detailed, angular part, which sits lower, which is what is below. This is incorrect and upside down, as the part the shoulder pins into sits lower when you see this end. When its correct its a smooth and very much more seamless thing. I rotated mine around backwards to show what the difference is for the photos. The end result is if theyre incorrect, the shoulders sit lower, and it looks weird. I turned one shoulder around so it sits like the defects do, and you can see the shoulders sit much lower.
No problem! It seems like at least the batch that Target is sending to stores right now has the correct shoulders. If you get one that isnt correct, there are guides out there to fix it, but it does require some possible plastic stressing.
Has anyone checked VOA, Springdale, Milford or Beechmont Targets lately? I’d like to hopefully grab a Rhinox this week. Pretty sure I missed out on the Bridgewater one
I was at Springdale on Saturday, about 6 hours before I found Rhinox and Galvatron at Bridgewater. They were empty of both Kingdom leaders and voyagers. So they SHOULD probably get both this week, but they didnt have anything on Saturday.
I'm gonna try and manually fix my shoulders later today. Probably will be easier than waiting for Targets in my area to get him in
Missed these sightings by a day. Are there any other galvatrons in the Cincinnati area that have been unclaimed?
