It is? I used this promotional picture as example. Do you have a picture of your matrix chamber installation, so I can correct it :D

Just persuaded my wife to get me Kingdom Warpath at Smyths toy store for fathers day from the girls, one more off the list 20210613_153104.jpg
Plus I didn't want miss the chance of getting ms Dragstrip and Deadend for show z great price so order them last night. AliExpress will add on tax and postage making it pretty expensive option that way.

At the end of the day you gotta build it from pieces you like the most, Autobots are off the display space now and the Deceptions are up!
When I get time during the week I'll recombine Bruticus and probably put all my current Stunticons on Menasor that way i can fit more troops on the shelfs but liking how it looks so far. 20210613_171649.jpg 20210613_171719.jpg 20210613_164422.jpg 20210613_171624.jpg

It's been a while since I posted my collection, so here we go. Originally I was planning on filling this case with scenery for the figures to stand on and interact with but then I put them in and I was like, "Hmm..." As more figures have arrived and filled the space even more, it's become even more obvious that'll never work. So now the plan is to double the width of my legends display (it's moducase, so you can do that) and I'm thinking I'll probably do little islands of scenery rather than try to integrate everything into one big scene.

Anyway, let's get some close-ups. First, the elephants in the room.

    2021-06-13 16.41.26.jpg
    2021-06-13 16.41.33.jpg

For those who don't remember (or didn't care), I did some customization on Metroplex and Trypticon. Nothing major - just some panel lining, dirtying up, hit a few details with metallic shades, and applied the Toyhax sticker sets. I really like how they go with the legends bots. Straxus hanging out on Trypticon's hip because I had nowhere else I could squeeze him in.

    2021-06-13 16.39.49.jpg

Next up is Headmasters. I know some of you are probably saying that Fort Max should be as big as Metroplex but I prefer the comic take on Maxie where he's just a large bot, not a city. I also like that it keeps Metroplex and Trypticon more unique and striking rather than just being lost in a sea of titans. My display case prefers it this way as well, and so does my wallet.

    2021-06-13 16.40.31.jpg

The main Autobots or at least those that are available at this scale (I've kicked out my old NA carbots and vanbros for being too small).

    2021-06-13 16.40.13.jpg

Dinobots (apologies to Sludge and Snarl who are almost completely lost behind everybody), Omega, Hoist and Grapple, and Skylynx. Earthrise Skylynx is a bit large for this scale, but I really liked the look of the toy and I couldn't justify buying him if I didn't work him into my legends collection so here he is. If someone ever does a more appropriately sized version of the character, he'll be getting replaced. Also Windblade who doesn't really belong with the rest of these guys but what can I say, I liked the figure.

    2021-06-13 16.40.42.jpg

The Decepticons (also, anyone wondering why Bumblebee was off balance in the previous pic, here's Rumble with an explanation. I'd prefer slightly larger Insecticons but otherwise I love this group! Sadly, Octane couldn't make it - ShowZ messed up my order somehow so he shipped late and hasn't arrived yet.

    2021-06-13 16.40.52.jpg

Shockwave and the coneheads got kinda' lost in the previous shot so here they are. Moducase's spotlights really suck for photographing - Shockwave actualy appears his correct color to my eye, but the camera under this light makes him look blue. You can actually see where the spotlights hit some of the characters because they'll have parts that are purple in areas and blue in others (check out the Trypticon shot for a really good example of this). Someday I'll replace them with better lighting - probably when the next round of cases I ordered arrive. I actually like how it makes the blast effect look on Starscream's gun, though.

    2021-06-13 16.41.08.jpg

The TFTM cast, many of whom need replacing once better designs become available, and the only two Newage seekers I own. One of those scenery islands I mentioned earlier will be a golden lagoon for that gold seeker and Beachcomber to hang out at (Hodur will probably live on another shelf eventually since he's not really a G1 character).

    2021-06-13 16.56.19.jpg

I wonder if @NOCV will have noticed in the previous shot, but here's a closeup of his incredibly well done Kremzeek escaping his circuit trap. Love this little guy! I also have his Vector Sigma (you can see the empty stand behind Optimus and Megatron) but I'm waiting on an order for clear yellow paint - I plan on installing an led in it and it should look pretty damn cool.

I very much appreciate you phrasing that in a way that sounds like an honest question and not an accusation. I want to claim that I don't care about scale, I just like cool transforming toys, but... I do care at least a little bit. I have one NA figure, because I'm a sucker for Blue Bluestreak (seriously, the Diaclone one is my Holy Grail) and also because I was curious about New Age's stuff. It's not bad. It's a little small, but I bought this one as a one-off, similar to buying the Magic Square whatever they called it chibi Arcee (who is fucking adorable - even my girlfriend thinks so, and she's not interested in robots at all). I got the Tracks hoping he'd fit in, size-wise, with my many Iron Factory and Magic Square figures, and was disappointed to find that he's just a little too big. I still think he's great, but if he wasn't Tracks, I wouldn't care nearly as much. He just doesn't fit with my small-scale collection, and that bums me out. I'm glad I got him because I want any and every transforming Tracks figure I can find, but he doesn't fit in anywhere, and I don't want to start a sub-collection of another scale. I've been ditching my MPs (except Tracks, obviously - and I don't have the blue Bluestreak, but it's on my list), and concentrating on the mainline/studio series stuff and Legends scale stuff. This Tracks does it for me in every way but size. He's gonna hang out with my QTF Tracks and other oddball things, and that's fine! I like that!

I want to spend my money on things I like, and I like Tracks. I don't like the Legends Plus size of figures. That's why I don't want more. I have nothing against em, I'm just not interested. There's no anger, hate, or malice of any kind... there's just other avenues that I want to place my money. :)

Oh right, about about knowing about the size before buying... no, I didn't really. I didn't do a lot of research. I saw "LEGENDS TRACKS WOOOO!" and clicked add to cart. I HAVE heard that MFT was Legends Plus, so I figured that worst case scenario, I'd have a new small Tracks figure that'll stand alone. That's basically what happened. I'd have been pretty sad if it was a character I didn't give a shit about.

Fun fact: Some Humans (without rabies) can foam/salivate severely from the mouth just by seeing a pleasurable image.

So, a few posts back, I was thinking of Ultra Magnus, and now I finally have a new one to replace my Titanium UM
20210614_113002.jpg They're the exact height, exactly the height I want
The only nitpick I have are the upper legs, they don't go forward as much as they go outwards...
    20210614_112918.jpg
Here's with brother KBB OP, I like the look a lot...
    20210614_110202.jpg
Roughly the same sizes, but the new one is just so much better...
Should I paint the blue on the chest cartoon accurate or like, with added blue like the WFC ones?

Don't mind the messy table and crap photos pls :(  I use it for campus projects as well :(

That is an amazing display, it is very difficult to display them all so you can see a good amount of each character all at the same time when doing something like this, especially when it comes to the dinobots as you are gonna want them in there dino modes for sure.
Really want to do something like this and now I have enough Autobots I can have a ho at some point.
I also appreciate how much time something like this takes to set up before you can even start to take pictures, as you want to make the most of each characters posabilty as much as possible.
Looking at your Trypticon makes me wish I had got one a few years back now I had the option of getting the Titans return one or the original g1 reissue both were a reasonable price and not much between them in cost as well so I went with the g1 (I think it was the old funky electrics that won me over ) back then couldn't see myself ever getting into legends collecting as much as I have ether.

    Damn! That is just...
    ...yes that exactly. Looks amazing!

Thank you! I can't wait for the bigger display space (heh, story of my life - I spent all of last year talking about how I couldn't wait for the first set of moducases and now I'm waiting on a second) to give them a little more breathing and fighting room. I wanna' go nuts with mini-scenes, light up blast effects, the works.

I must say this on here too.

If there's a TOP seller in this world, that seller is @ShowZStore the most trustworthy of the all TF web-stores. Thank you very much for your efforts, seriously. :)  You're amazing.

Now my Frenzy has two cannons! And the arm of my Cliffjumper is totally perfect and functional!. Thanks to Jane and David for the patience.

Epilogue: it's seems that the era of Issue-Magnet-Guy it's about to finalize. I'm gonna transcend into a being made of light free of QC issues. :lol  :lol  Not picky anymore... And fully relaxed. :lol  :lol

I can't believe this many years into the legends game that nobody else has taken a crack at the Dinobots. The DX9/MFT versions are great but when has a good version of a character (or characters) already existing in a scale stopped another 3p company from taking a swing at it themselves? And at this point the DX9 ones are 5 years old, so surely this many years on one of the other companies making Legends figures has some ideas on how to make even better ones. Its not like they are characters that struggle to sell.
