No. They're just unpainted prototypes. No worries.

Here's hoping. Paint has always been a bit of a weak point of MS, at least to me. Its why I always went with NA offerings over MS.

You know you are reading a Magic Square's or New Age's thread when there are at least a couple of 'supersize this' comments.

I'm thinking about commenting every MP thread saying we need a legends version of those, just for the laughs :p

I want a KO MS Devastator box set, Lewin OP sized. And I want it to come with Micromaster sized versions of these guys too. Just for fun.

@Dutchy79 Chill, dude. I think MS has the better product this time, especially considering the "upgrade kit" NA is peddling.

Do we know if we’re getting both sets of legs shown here?

Man I wish they'd managed to do a non-pantsforming version. It's just too cheat-y for me; I much prefer fully-integrated combiners.

If the MMC Bruticus was anything to go off of, it is doable, but not without some sacrifices in regard to stability and some seriously compromised bot modes. The tech just isn't there yet.

I feel like with six members, making Long Haul turn into waist & thighs is doable. We've had plenty of Devastators that don't pants-form, and Magic Square has shown they can pull off stuff that looks just as good as what other companies can do at a larger scale.

There is always Hulkie if that is your cup of tea. It looks like trash in comparison though. Parts forming is the way to go

As @lilcarus posted, yes. It's a similar system as MS Menasor, pre-order (first run) bonuses are the alternative (ox) items for thighs, waist and alternative face.

i really dont think it is doable at this scale and if it was possible. no one would want to pay for kind of engineering.

I have no problem with the parts forming.
if they didn't they would even be bigger in single bot form to reach a 25cm combined form and still make some sense next to the rest of the line up from MS.
If they did do it and taken in acount single bots that scale perfect, we would have another Devastator that is too small for a combiner in scale with the rest.
I think what MS did, go slightly bigger with the bots and add a few parts formers, is a better way to go.
    A good trade off

A bit of parts forming is tolerable for combiners (hands, etc.). It's the pants forming that's a bridge too far for me. I just don't want a random set of robot shorts that doesn't turn into anything.

It's not even pants-forming lately, they're overalls, if not even more... "neck to knees" is just plain ridiculous.
