Its also been two years since development of Metroid Prime 4 was scrapped and restarted from scratch. Demanding that they show if off is still rather naive at this time.
Not for me. They're basically ignoring Halo 5's story it seems, and the multiplayer was classic Halo just with new weapons and the equipment is now all arm-mounted. It was exactly what I wanted to see, which was Halo being Halo. I don't know if it makes me cynical or naive, but any time a game reveal doesn't immediately sour me I consider it cause for celebration. I'm still tentative, because stuff like ordnance is still there, and some of the guns are a little too COD-reject-y for my tastes, but it looks like a return to form.
I’m so used to Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon taking turns, and since it’s Motorsport’s turn, I didn’t expect Horizon to come out until late 2022. And I told myself, I’ll only get the new Xbox when Horizon hits. We’ll, it looks like I’ll be searching for a Series X in the near future!
Good show by Microsoft. Not all time great, but good. Forza Horizon 5 is my Game of Show so far. I’m playing through Forza Horizon 4 right now, and it’s already my favorite racing game. Mexico is a perfect pick as a location too. There’s so much history there with off road racing such as the Baja 1000 and WRC. I’ve been to Guanajuato before too, and they nailed that city. A Plague Tale 2 was a nice surprise. Outer Worlds 2 had the funniest trailer I’ve seen in a while too. Replaced looked gorgeous. Halo does look improved too. It was a good conference considering they’re still holding back on Hellblade 2, and they aren’t that far along into development on Indiana Jones (which are my two most anticipated Xbox games). And they continue to add more value to GamePass as well.
I love, love, love the Guardians of the Galaxy films. However, this game feels more like the Avengers to me than another Spider-Man PS4. The writers are trying too hard to write like James Gunn, and they just can’t. Some of the voice acting seems off too. I do look forward to the soundtrack though.
How long do you think they need to develop a game before they can show it off? I mean, it's Metroid, not Elder Scrolls 50. Metroid shouldn't take THAT long to make. They can easily show off some of that while also announcing ports of the Prime trilogy and the Return of Samus remake for the Switch. BTW, apparently Square announced a Final Fantasy 1-6 collection for computer and phones only. That's just dumb. Like why even bother at that point if you aren't going to put it on something that matters? Oh, and what about Beyond Good and Evil 2? Was there any news on that front?
Not a bad show by Microsoft. I guess Outer Worlds 2 is a confirmation that any sequel to a multi-platform game will be Xbox exclusive. A shame if you ask me. Guess I won't be playing anymore Wolfenstein games.
Pretty clunky E3 so far, not surprised but I dunno if its hope or what but my opinion is Nintendo is gonna drop something huge and blow everyone else away.... .... ...... ....... Or everyone else just had really crappy shows and all Nintendo has to do is step over a bar ether way
