Yeah the only recent confirmation of his existence was that product description that also included Grindor and the other upcoming releases.

Who knows, maybe we'll get to see him on July and no I don't think we are getting physical glimpses of him from official sources...

 

I wonder why Jolt has had so much tighter security than any other recent figure. Seems unusual. Well I hope something leaks really damn soon.

 

Kinda wish that Grindor was tan like the original ROTF toy. Ah well.

 

Not sure if I\'m allowed to actually share this but I\'ll do it anyways, there\'s a mod for blackout which involves adding the spike accessories from either crowbar or berserker in between the foot and panel slider piece on the foot, that\'ll hold the piece in an elevated position and make the figure taller, I\'ll try it on grindor in the morning or afternoon and get back to y\'all when I can take pictures of it.

It will but I’m using an extra pair from a broken berserker so it doesn’t matter much to me, I won’t be doing this mod as a permanent thing, just did it to show you all.

Grindor is almost twice as big as Blackout and has a different helicopter model for his alt mode. This figure is kind of a fail.

 

Aye, SS could benefit from the Commander class for a few characters.

A listing, sure. But no photos? Not even a product description? I'm amazed they've kept the leaks so tightly sealed for him.

Yeah I think with Scavenger being much smaller, Studio Series will just have some semblance of a scale and not strict about it. There's just going to be nothing extremely undersized.

Also Grindor's robot mode is pretty much unchanged so you're either have to wrestle with an inaccurate bot mode if they made the effort. Also looks like I'll just keep using the Legends Ravage which still looks great.

 

Hasbro's hands were kind of tied here. The helicopter is different from Blackout's (Super Stallion vs. Pave Low), but the CG robot model is exactly the same as Blackout, which is a Pave Low. So one mode was always going to be inaccurate.

I also don't think it would have been all that reasonable to expect him not to be a Blackout redeco even if it is out of scale. I'm glad they did the hands.
