I would like to find these items too, but if it's this ridiculous, I don't even enjoy the hunt. I got Thrust from TFSource for less than 180% of retail, maybe that's good enough.

 

Oh I know! I meant like if they were to reissue them as normal mainline toys available in stores, then I'd feel like getting one. Even if they were reissued as online exclusives again idk if I'd go for it, I like seeing them in person if I can.

 

And they’ll make it premium only like they did with Super Megatron. There’s no winning.

 

Yup. Not willing to pay (looks at e-bay search maintained for months now...) 25% more than the standard recommended retail price of the latest titan for two voyager-class toys (plus insane postage from the US).

Or twice that price if you want Thrust in there as well...

 

Missed the original listing, and I DO want to get all the seekers. Thrust looks mighty lonely, being the only Conehead there. Hope they pull a Universe 2.0 and bring those exclusives over to the mainline later on.

 

I wonder how many they actually made. It’s one thing being exclusive, but with all the preorders that went unfulfilled, I guess not many were sold. If you look on ebay, beside the crazy ridiculous price, there is actually not that many copy offered.

 

I gotta assume their contract with Amazon precludes a reissue with anyone else, and Amazon doesn't want to.

 

I’m about to repaint some more common coneheads if there isn’t some movement in this area.
Maybe I should take one for the team and buy a hideously overpriced one so the second I have it in-hand they announce a re-issue. I’m 3/3 so far, you can all thank me after…

 

At the moment, almost all Canadians are still without them. I heard several stores had preorders for a reissue and most of them were all cancelled due to high demand or low production.

 

No, since I was able to get mine with no problem. But also YES because I know many fans have had a really difficult time getting them!

 

I don't know if that's as reliable an indicator as it used to be. eBay has been on the decline for a long time and there are a great many things that don't turn up in high volume there like they would've in the past. Just consider this country has a population over 300 million and there's no way a recent mass market product should only have a dozen or so listings.

Anyway, I _might_ buy the set if I had another chance at it. Honestly I'm happy enough with both G2 Ramjets. I lucked into a Thrust during a preorder window and haven't opened him so there's no real draw for me to complete the coneheads.

Yup, but its not the end of the world. Ramjet would be my focus.

 

Dirge + Ramjet, Thrust and Runabout all elude me. Sucks being an international fan a lot of the time.

 

As a fellow Aussie, I am so glad I decided I didn't need the Coneheads or the Battlechargers in my collection.

 

At one point, I wanted them. Now, I would be happy to see them reissued, but not for me. My older Generations and Zeta models are fine. I would rather have the Siege Skywarp reissued my own collection.

 

I'd still like to get my hands on Ramjet and Dirge and Thrust.
I hope they get a reissue.

To my utter shock, not me.

I had them on pre-order but while Amazon cancelled a bunch of my pre-orders I suddenly got a sent package notification and the next day I had them.

Of course, fully expecting the order to be cancelled, I never bothered trying to get Thrust (not sold locally so had to import) Thus I now have two of the Coneheads with almost zero chance of ever getting the third for less than MP prices -- actually, I wouldn't be surprised if MP Thrust would be cheaper now.
