I super hyped for this at first but I think the Grindor deco isn't different enough for me to double dip, at least for now. To be completely honest if this was a straight-up do-over of Blackout with updated hands and paint apps I would probably bite, which will probably end up happening so for now I'll be content with my piano-playing Blackout.

Yeah, he doesn’t look terrible and it’s still a great toy. If you didn’t get Blackout, he’s worth getting.
Not to mention that the headline and story say he's SS-76, when his box, shown from multiple angles, says he's SS-73.
It's gonna be hard to completely remove the rust as it's been applied to painted surfaces and over tampographs as well. That's a bit of a bummer. The yellow in vehicle mode really pops though!
Have they fix the issue with the shoulder pieces not being able to tab-in properly or are they just as loose as on Blackout?
I mean, considering they were all slamming each other into the ground and swinging around trees with dirt still clinging to their roots, it makes a lot of sense to me. I’d love a battle damaged Optimus with black and silver marks and dirt stains.
I understand what they were going for, but the execution on this figure isn't great. Hasbro has done better battle damage/wear decos in the past. TT is knocking it out of the park with their Premium Finish line as well. Unfortunately Blackout/Grindor will not make an appearance in that line. Hey, I'm honestly super happy to hear that you like the dirt stains on Grindor!
that's a pity. got mine a while ago for around 20£-39£ really good figure. wonder if the new articulated hands match up to the KO? that guy even has knuckle joints
