He's also got a lot of super low price, high shipping items. That seems kinda scammy too.

 

Bought a KO Blue G1 Swoop from ebay seller alexmeng78. He shipped within two days of purchase and I got Swoop 16 days later, well within the shipping estimate. He shipped in a sealed styrofoam container. The container took a hit somewhere during shipping and had a decent chunk missing from one side. I could actually see Swoop's box from the outside, so no inner packing material. The box and toy arrived undamaged though! So overall, a good experience!

Side note for anyone considering a KO G1 Swoop. The packaging and figure look great. Nothing missing, no broken parts, great for display. The figure itself though is so tight I was unable to transform the chest. Got to the point I was applying force, loosening the screws and just had to stop before I broke it. Going to display in dino-mode anyways.

I don't think anybody should buy from this guy for a couple weeks.

I just messaged tj_dynng-8 asking if he was still legit and if I would be getting what I actually ordered and he responded immediately saying he is an honest seller.
I'm sure there was a language barrier there but I'm still skeptical

He's been taking a while shipping my Wheeljack, seems kinda fishy. I had other orders well after that from the same area (China) after that that came a few days ago, and I live in West US. lol

I ordered FT31 from him in Apr 2 and got it on Apr 22 (I live in Canada). I hope he didnt go rogue on you.

Never dealt with him, but his prices look like what I'd expect. I don't see FansToys for half the going rate or any long-lost figures that haven't been stocked for ages. His buyers seem to be an experienced bunch and they're spending a good amount of money on each transaction. Not just 4 buyers each repeatedly getting $1.00 items to pad the feedback. I'd say he's as good as any e-bay seller.

tj_dynng-8 has gone rogue - I bought FT Blurr and the parcel arrived today. A Jiffy bag containing MP-36 Instructions and card. Ebay is slow with the tracking, but I imagine by tomorrow it'll show as arrived and then I will report it.

 

Man that is not what I wanted to hear, guess all of my Ebay in May have been scammed. I hope people start flooding his review so I can expedite my refund progress. All my tracking are either late Jul to Aug.

 

Just a question about getting refunds. I used to always get my refunds through paypal instead of going through eBay. Is going through PayPal for refunds still the best avenue?

I haven't bought from eBay in a while and I know paypal has changed some of their terms over the years. Looking for advice before get my feet wet again.

If you paid for your Ebay order with Paypal, then Paypal is still the fastest option for refunds.

 

I tried Paypal first and they said they can't supersede ebays refund process.
They made me call ebay first and start a claim

It came in chinese, so had to run it thought google. Ebay now has updated the tracking to say the item has arrived, so I will try to make a claim. They seem to only allow you to send it back if they sent you the wrong item :-/
