So I haven't been keeping up. Are there any pics of Kingdom and T30 Rhinox together yet?

 

Doesn't look like it. At least nothing that isn't composited.

 

Looks leaps and bounds... dare I say lightyears? Better than T30, which never looked right to me with his wasp-waist and washed out colors.

 

Out of curiosity is there anyone who has a Kingdom Rhinox able to take comparison shots with a Generations/T30 Rhinox? I'm curious to see how they look next to each other.

I like the proportions on Kingdom better, but I don't like the colors as much as T30, show accuracy be damned. Plus I like the head sculpt on T30 better. As figures, I find Kingdom to be the more posable and fun.

 

Is anyone else finding the legs-into-back transformation a real pain?

 

Narrowly missed getting Galvatron today, but did bag a rhino.

 

Oh, so Kingdom Rhinox is actually taller.

After seeing this, i am seeing no reason to replace my T30 Rhinox.

 

The random green splotches on Rhinox's shoulder bothers me a lot

It's tough, because this figure feels like a lateral step. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose, I prefer the Kingdom figure, but very slightly. It's a little more robust and has better proportions, at the cost of a more annoying transformation and a less show-accurate head.

 

I just watched a review of Rhinox and the transformation for the legs looks exhausting, complex and not well thoughr. However, the figure looks great in robot mode. I don't think it is better or worse than the T30, just something different and refreshing for both kids and collectors.
