I got Galvatron on Saturday, he's pretty badass. I love the transformation.

My BBTS Galvatron would like to have a word w/ you.

the leg panels only start opening up when you try to rock the ankles too far. There's really no need to do that honestly.

He poses just fine. Galvatron was always a brute and never pulled off insane ninja levels of flexibility in the show. he was just a regular Brawler type that fired his cannon at everything while yelling at it. He's nice and beefy as he was always meant to be.  

 

I also really love his Flak Cannon Mode a ton!

 

I wish they made his feet just a little bit longer, Galvatron always had nice pointy shoes. Maybe not AS long as this:



But a half point between what he has and the character model. I mean they're already pointing out in the cannon mode, nothing obstructing them really.

 

You were just one of the few lucky people. the rest of us who pre-ordered him the day it went live just hope we get ours before the end of the year.

Could someone provide a side by side photo with POTP Rodimus (just the non combined mode)?

 

So just curious about the shoulder fix? What's that about? I got mine from the first batch from BBTS and the pin is facing the rear. Did a lot of them come opposite?

I wanted to pass on him, but god he looks so good.

 

I am loving this guy a whole lot. I am also in the camp of those who would rather see the pin holes or eventually plug them as opposed to pop-and-swap them. I tried it and saw stress marks and bailed on that process immediately.

If I have one nitpick, it is that the transluscent orange is really ugly. I find it visually offensive and would have preferred it were entirely solid orange, or the painted orange at the base. I may do that myself.

Best official retail Galvatron we have ever seen. Blows that chunky mess from Titans Return right back to Thrull.

 

I can see Toyhax releasing a substantial reprolabel set for this guy; hopefully it’ll include solid orange decals to cover up the transparent parts of the cannon.

Once I get this guy I'm probably going to pick up Purple Potato (that 3rd party Shockwave that turns into the Revenge). Perfect display material.
