Brilliant custom choice! That Star Dino rex is practically already in the right colours and just needs a spike on his nose.

Also, Overkill was quite large in the IDW comics, so it works well here.

I actually have that Star Dino set for sale, but I'm starting to question now. :lol

So could I maybe get some advice from you KO folks? I'm trying to figure out what would work well with the IT-01 Emperor of Destruction and I need a good Soundwave and Starscream to group with him. I've been looking at the re-release of Meteor for Starscream since I much prefer the proportions on it over what the new MP Starscream offers. Do you guys recommend that piece and should I jump on it fast? I see some comments on KOs vanishing quick and it worries me. Also, Meteor is highly regarded so he seems like the best choice. That said however, I really wish there was a cheaper option because 100+ is pushing what I can spend. As for Soundwave it seems like THF Sonic Wave is the best, I just need to find a trustworthy seller I guess?

Meteor is not a KO. That said you might want to hold a bit since there seems to be a new player in town on the Seeker Mp market that just made their announcement on a new MP Starscream (by the looks of it) that so far looks hands down the best (in robot mode at least).

That said, Id avoid the KBB kos of the seekers unless you have another choice. The most well regarded are Yes Model but outside Starscream IDK if any circulate currently.

I get that wrong about the KOs every time, sorry about that. And I think I saw the announcement you're mentioning. I think it looks great but at the same time I'm not as interested in the sleek toon aesthetic as much as I am in Meteor's proportions because something about it just screams robot in a way that I love, if that makes any sense. Thanks for the advice though, I'll definitely check into Yes Model.

Nothing to be sorry about friend, I just pointed that out ;)

As for toon aesthetics, I totally understand, because I too am not into full toon.

Something about Meteor has a realism to it. I'm not sure if I'm making sense but I just like that he looks like a giant robot that can be a jet when needed. Like something is always off no matter what mode he is in.

The dedicated Wei Jiang threads are pretty dead, so I'll ask this here: I'm looking at the WJ M-09/Fire Scorpion as a cheaper alternative to Freedom Leader after seeing this PvP video:

There's some availability through aliexpress / Show Z, which is fine, but I was curious if anyone here had him and their opinions. PvP seemed to love him and Sam's Forge mentioned some engineering issues, so I'm still hesitating.

I have a LOT of KOs I've decided I don't really want anymore so I think it might be time to start putting them in my sales thread.

His original release name was Ba Wang Long, which means The King Dragon in Chinese. Part of the Star Rescue Team line. (Star Cats was a different line by the same designer, but people often get the name swapped)

I know its unorthodox, but I don't think anyone here would complain if you posted a link to that thread once you add your KO stuff for sale. :)

Cool... I didn't know this guy was sold on an individual blister card.

Isn't that a picture of the STAR Cats characters right there on the label?

This set and the STAR Rescue set were apparently designed by the 3rd Party company TFC for this series. There was definitely some fanfare around them when they first came out. They teased concept art of both sets in G1 colours, but I think they waited far too long to actually produce repainted sets.

No, that's the Star Rescue Team characters. Star Cats is an older combiner by the same people, but this forum mislabeled the Star Rescue Team as "Star Cats", so everyone calls them that. I will look for a picture of the actual Star Cats combiner.

I hear ya... I just dragged out a bunch of stuff to photograph and add to my sale list. It's a bit of a slog.
