I suspect he'd look way better with a different green and a better yellow but it might just be the light.

 

Er, no "minute difference". Is a BIG difference since it makes the bug mode look more cohesive.

 

All I see is an arm on both bots but in slightly different positions.

 

I'm also guessing this Waspy is going to "scale" better with the rest of the Kingdom stuff. Which, I understand, is very important.

The alternatives to those would be repaints. Of those.

 

But the other doesn't make an attempt to hide the arm, is just there.

 

Yeah, I've got the same attitude towards this as I do towards Rhinox... T30 looks better to me, but it's unreasonable to expect that everyone who might like Beast Wars was collecting for a narrow window in 2013, or that all releases be tailored specifically towards me.

Even if it was extraneous though, they're gonna release like 10 Starscreams in the next two years, I don't think an extra Waspinator every decade or so is a huge problem.

 

I don't even think that much. It's either repacks of Wheeljack and Arcee, or two other mainline ER Deluxes like Smokescreen or Trailbreaker.

And, if anything, the picks they went with were smart. Early ER stuff that was tough to find due to COVID-related distribution errors. Rather than just repacking earlier Kingdom guys who are still on shelves from the previous wave.

 

Either way it's visible robot kibble, and either way it's less egregious than most because of the color blending in. Both are nothing compared to the likes of Dinobot, Blackarachnia, and Airazor. It's a minute issue.

 

Looks okay, but the previous figure captured the look of the Beast wars show better. Also how big is this one? It looks smaller than the T30 one.

No. Not really. If Tigatron could get his own voyager mold, than Inferno deserves his own as well, cause unlike Terrorsaur, inferno is WAY too big to pass as a deluxe.

 

Tigatron almost didn't get his own mold though. That was a late change in plans that forced Shadow Panther in to the retail waves and may have killed Night Prowler.

 

Completely different different robot modes and alt modes. That’s like settling for a Jazz repaint with new head on a Datsun mold body

 

People were convinced Airrazor was gonna be remolded into Terrorsaur. Not surprised we have a similar idea starting again.
