Magic Square designs are nice. Problem for me is the texture of their plastic gives me a negative ASMR reaction.

 

The problem for me with MS version is that because they tried to keep combiner kibble to a minimum while still making combined mode a good enough size so they ended up with bots that are Magatron/Optimus sized. That's just completely out of scale. Their combined mode looks better for sure, but for bot mode NA wins.

They’ve been changing. Recent releases like Shockwave haven’t been using nylon but now it’s causing issues within MS fans. Some are enjoying the change while others grew fond of the Nylon. But tolerances have been off and people have been having more issues with the new plastic. When I owned MS products I didn’t mind the Nylon but it got super loose over time. The only NA figure that I own that is loose is Soundwave and it’s only in the elbows. CliffJumper had loose hips but some future fixed that.

 

Do you have comparison pics that show how big the smaller robots are?

I'm not sure we do, I was just assuming NA bots would be the correct scale. Could end up being wrong, but we know for sure the MS bots are fairly large.

These images were not taken with size comparison in mind so the placement and angle are not ideal, but it is the best I'm aware of at this time. The first image has NA Bonecrusher and Scavenger near their Ramjet. The second one on the far right behind the blurred out figure you can see MS Dragstrip behind their Bonecrusher (the wheels on Dragstrip's shoulder are clear to the side of the figure). Maybe someone could put NA Ramjet and MS Dragstrip next to each other.

Hope this helps- hmm, is Bonecrusher the same height of Ramjet (to the tip of his conehead)? And Scavenger is three heads taller than Dragstrip? And here it looks like Ramjet is three heads taller than Dragstrip. So they're pretty close?

 

I just read someone’s comment on FB saying that the MS Constructicons will be same height as their OP and Megs.

MS current OP is 11cm - 4.33in.
MS current Megs is 12cm - 4.72in

ShowZ has the height of NA Constructicons at 9cm - 3.94in.

Is there anyway to confirm?

 

Does this help? In leg mode, the top of Mixmaster seems about level with Megatron’s chest. Presumably Mixmaster’s legs extend a bit for robot mode, but even then I don’t think he’ll be as tall as Megatron is.
