    But that would make me start looking at other high-end non-transforming SG figures, and that’s not a slope I can really afford to slip down at the moment...

    After thinking on it for a minute, I gotta agree with you. I personally like the colors on a G1 Soundwave, but they all look wrong on this Live Action Soundwave. The teal blue on the legs just look like it was just randomly applied, Ravage don't have the "cute kitty cat" vibe he had in SG and the Headband looks wildly out of place on the live action body.

    I love SG Soundwave but I dunno if the colors suit this figure. The original looks awesome, not too sure about this.

    Also hope this doesn't keep Hasbro from releasing him in the mainline - from what I can tell in the leaks he's not slotted for the current set of SG releases.

    Man the Live Action aesthetic completely changes the vibe of SG Soundwave and Ravage. Ravage looks like hes gone from posting lolcat memes to provoking flame wars, and Soundwave... weirdly gives off Snake Eyes vibes???? The headband on the knight-verse bod just makes him feel like a ninja or a soldier, instead of a bodacious surfer bro.
