He has springs in the back of his lower legs to allow them to collapse more but also have the piece spring back. The upper part of his chest is diecast metal.

Furai Model - equals unassembled model kits you build yourself (may require painting and typically have stickers for some detailing). $30 to $50 range.
Furai Action - similar (or the same) scale and build quality of the unassembled models but instead they are fully assembled and painted - Optimus Primal features a couple things that are similar to what is found in Kuro Kara Kuri (metal and spring loaded areas). $75 to $175 range.
Kuro Kara Kuri - larger super high end figures. Not model kits at all but premium high end figures. Feature metal, lights, and mechanical features in their build. $300+

Some designs are shared across each like Drift, but the model and the 3K figure are completely different (size, features, etc. are all different). The only model or figure to be the same across more than one line is the IDW Optimus Prime in the Furai model and Furai Action lines. The Furai Action version is a preassembled and painted version of the Furai model.

Now imagine if they were allowed to make them transform (which I know they can't)... then it would be Killer Kaioken Kuro Kara Kuri and prices at the $500+ range lol.

    1. Price - For those who made a reservation in advance, about KRW 200,000 for special benefit. / About KRW 200,000 for special needs in domestic shop ~ Rear half

    2. Weight - Full armed with 204g....?!?

    3. Mobility - No arm movement joint.. 90 degrees on your knee. Shoulder extension and ankle joint look dangerous

The knuckles are a bit soft. Lack of hip opening angle. Lack of Thigh Rotation Joint

    4. Forearm canon comes out well (difference by body?)

    5. Clean qc without paint miss

    6. Design is the best...

    7. Alloys are currently identified on both sides of the chest, abdomen, and upper thighs.

You look like you've got shoulder extension gimmicks and ankle jitters, so I'm gonna use an alloy for things like this...

In the case of KuroKaraKuri line, the price is higher.

Mobility, alloy volume, alloy part, enclosed parts, design and size are satisfactory (except joint octopus of course).

This guy is a company of Sentinel/Flame Toys love and hate.

Didn't know that you were a tfw2005 member! I love your video reviews (especially some of your FlameToys posing videos with Optimus and Tarn), and I'm glad to see you're including english subtitles with your videos now. My Korean is decent but there's a lot of technical terminology I'm unfamiliar with :)
Too bad about this Primal figure - seems like an inauspicious start to their Furai Action series.

Good to hear! I finally shipped mine from stash so I expect to cry from taxes in a few weeks (only mad Europeans import from the US), but it’ll be worth it. I’ve had Megatron a while now and if Dark Star Saber is anywhere near as good as that..man I can’t wait :D

Since I haven’t been able to secure one from D4Toys I also had to pay BBTS‘ markup and on top of the shipping my local 20% sales tax but that was money spent by yesterday’s me which is totally unrelated to today’s me who can simply enjoy the figure.

Hello! Nice to meet you! Thank you so much for enjoying my video. There will be many typos because English subtitles are automatic translation. I'm glad you like the pose video! I'll try harder from now on. Thank you! : ) KakaoTalk_20210528_125337823.jpg

    That’s awesome!

I really dig the white one, but the prices on them are a bit high for my liking

Actually I believe the SG version is the better one. But yeah I am biased ;)

I have both and I feel the SG one is sharper. Options with guns is a nice plus too.

I’m so disappointed this isn’t a model kit. I think a lot of my issues would’ve been forgivable if it were. Honestly it’s just not that impressive for the price. :(

don’t get me wrong I’m perfectly happy with this version, it’s gonna satisfy my new SG/Dark theme collecting tastes LOL

For some reason I thought the SG version only came with the guns instead of the dual swords, well I was pleasantly surprised!

    EDIT:

was messing around with Drift yesterday, I did get this figure lightly used, if at all. I have noticed that his right leg is extremely stiff moving it out laterally, his other leg is just fine when pushing it through the range of motion. I'm scared to put too much pressure on the die cast joint for the right leg. Should I just slowly work it until it cracks loose? Also, the thigh guards have popped off, looks like the glue holding them was no good. I ended up with a scuff on his face that was touched up, unsure if the original owner did this or if this was a factory deal. Last issue is that his left toe is a bit loose as well.

Overall though, he is pretty bad ass, and I can get by these small things as he is a new to me figure. Im thoroughly impressed with all the little nuances and details that he has, its pretty amazing what they can cram into a figure this size. Its all in the details and the paint apps, the moving parts, man he is definitely worth the money. I just wish that all of the 3K lineup was in the $250-300 range, and not the $400+ we are seeing.

I have 3K Megs on the way and SG Prime on pre-order I will expect perfection from them because they are new and full price lol.

Some pics! Still earning to pose him, so bear with me lol

Any word on Rodimus? He’s supposed to be a June/July release so we should be getting really close.

Given that we're still waiting on more Victory Leo news, and he was originally slated for May, we should probably assume than any previous date assumptions are scuffed at this point.
