Their listing for the Origins Wind Raider (among other figures) still doesn't have images. Seemed odd, but images being taken down is even odder.
200X Evil-Lyn is instock at BBTS Masters of the Universe: Origins Evil-Lyn (Ver. 2) And the whole wave is up for PO Masters of the Universe: Origins Wave 5 Set of 4 Figures
Same here, but I'm glad to know some folks got theirs already. Hopefully that bodes well for all of the other pre-orders.
I am buying extras of all the figures that I'll need to make Wun-Dar but I'm holding off on making the custom for now. I want to wait and see if we get an official version first. I wonder if it's because the image was just a photoshop mockup and they don't want anyone getting ticked off if the final product doesn't look like the mockup. Same here. This is the first time I've had a MOTUO preorder hit my pol before I found it in the store. I'm still waiting on my 2 BA He-Men that I ordered forever ago.
So I've been thinking about the Powercon exclusives and I don't the situation isn't as dire as many of us think. I'm basing most of this on how they handled the LOP box set and general stuff we know about Mattel, here is what I think will happen with each of the sets and their fate at Mass retail: Leo Faker & Dupli-Cat - Since we are already getting Faker this wave and Dupli-cat was just a quick retool, I see this set definitely staying convention only. Secrets of Grayskull Set - I highly doubt Mattel would just put that kind of tooling into a figure and display piece they wouldn't use again. I could see them releasing just the Space Dude and Tentacle as a kind of deluxe box set as either a retail exclusive or fan channel kind of thing. They would probably keep the Spirit of Grayskull effect exclusive as it is kind of obscure and also keeps the set unique. Evil Horde Set - Similar to the above, I don't think Mattel would have put all that tooling into a set to not use it again. Grizzlor and the Horde Trooper will absolutely go to retail, with the Horde trooper probably being white to keep the set colors unique. Hordak is a weird one, I could see him go either way, but he will probably be released though.
1. When is he supposed to come out? We haven't gotten him yet. 2. Are you shitting me? Goodguy Keldor and Won-Darr are much better choices to pick.
vaguely south american indigenous Triklops is fine with me, though I think the regular version looks better and that Wun-Dar is both funkier and more handsome. frankly, Wun-Dar seems like the sort of thing they'd do outside of the fanvote because while he's obscure, he's at least a new character. weird variants make sense for a fan poll.
