Did anyone ever try to swap arms and legs of Grimlock Wheelie with TR/Legends Wheelie?

The thing that sucks is if you don't already have TR or Legends Wheelie, they both are going for about what this kit costs anyway.

That DNA kit looks great (except for the sword). Probably going to be pricy though. Sucks that it won't be here until October though.

I already got wheeljackfan16's upgrade set for Grimlock a while ago, so I'd only be in this for dinosaur wrists (?!) and the clear neck piece if at all.

If they'd included a clear chest piece replacement in the kit I'm be more inclined to plonk down coin, but I'll likely just pass and open up my Legends Wheelie once I dig him out of storage. Currently have TR Clobber perched on Grimlock's shoulder in my display.

That's more than I paid for Grimlock. Looks like I'm going to stick with the Nonnef set.

The clear neck looks good and the leg covers look good, but if I really wanted a clear neck, I'm probably better off waiting for the inevitable Hasbro "toy deco" release.

Just saw the dna grimlock set and it the dumbest upgrade I've ever seen and I want it. 48 is a bit pricey but knowing dna products it will probably sell out

Just realized that that Grimlock/Wheelie kit doesn't come with a slingshot and I sold my ss86 Wheelie :banghead:

Man, most of this kit has become redundant for me now, but damn, that does look pretty good... Maybe hold on to some of it for the inevitable redeco of Grimlock.

Well, someone already made the weapon from Code of Hero so we're getting there. I'd like the ammo belt and rifle from Coming of the Fuzors myself.

The 2 Scorponok kits from DNA Design for the most part restored my faith in them. Was worried about the various moving parts in those sets (which they usually fail with) but turned out fine in person. I don't see anything concerning from their SS86 kit pics so far.

Was surprised to see them announce the SS86 kit. I would be surprised if it got released before Christmas.

TR Wheelie alone is selling $50 online. There's still some local comics shops around here who have it listed at $20 and unsold from the original release.

Legends Wheelie gets quite expensive towards the $80-$120 range. The cheapest I've seen is $60 after S&H.

The only 3p slingshots I've seen are for 5mm pegs (Dr. Wu, Go Better). SS86 Wheelie (and assuming DNA Design Wheelie) uses a 3mm slingshot.

LEGO slingshot pegs are too wide at 3.3mm.

There are y-shaped 3mm hexagon tile spacers but the angles would all be 120 degrees.

Not sure if he would be popular enough to warrant a full 3mm peg weapons set: blaster, slingshot, the weird slingshot and blaster combo, and light saber. Maybe ask @wheeljackfan16

I did make him a selfie stick as a joke. I don't know about a full on weapon set, but I could probably make just a slingshot.

Hey, @wheeljackfan16 question for you... Are you considering making the missing pieces for ER Scorponok? Namely, the orange pieces such as the lift and radar dishes the G1 original had. I know a lot of us would be in the market for that. It's basically all that's keeping the ER version from being truly "complete".
