I didn't notice that he's showing his teeth on the boxart. I do have to wonder why they didn't use the bared teeth head with him, since if it's on the boxart, I'd assume it was in the cards for quite a while.

Also, now that we're getting official stock images, we might finally get an official reveal of this figure we've known about and had pictures of for what feels like months?

 

So how are you supposed to get this guy again? I really adore the BW Megs mold, but I'm not totally sold on this guy. Still, if I get him I get him, if I don't I don't. Biggest shame is that they couldn't get the blue diaper completely on this figure. Would've been pretty amazing otherwise!

 

Well, I guess we know what this week's "reveal" is.

 

Stay tuned next week when Hasbro officially reveals TF Armada Super-con wave 2, coming to stores 18 years ago!

Really disappointed they aren\'t using the alternate tooling on the head... I am pretty committed to getting all the Beasts so show my support for other areas of the franchise, but this one stings a little more because of it. I wonder if I wouldn’t care as much if we didn't know the alt head exists?

 

T-Rex mode looks great, but I kinda wish they did a little something with all the grey.

 

I legit thought this was out judging by all the photos on social media. I'm guessing it was released early in some markets.

 

Am I the only one who likes the face better without the stupid ninja turtle mouth ? Some of those OG BW mouths looked ridiculous when they were "growling". While I would have preferred no white at all with a closed mouth, a little white line is better than teeth.

 

This must be what we are getting for Transformer Tuesday today.

 

Kingdom BW Megatron was such a letdown. Gotta pass on this.
but if the rumors of the Crossover Rexy are true, & that it comes with a new jeep transformer, I may have to get that. Just for the jeep.

 

I think there were a few sightings in Australian Targets? But beyond those first few have we heard anything more about him trickling out like that?

I like the Crossover line, but if you just want the Jeep odds are pretty good you'll be able to get him as Hound down the road.

 

If this is the Transformer Tuesday reveal, then it's kind of disappointing because we already seen it.

 

We see almost everything before it's revealed and the stuff we don't see before it's revealed are usually things that don't get leaked at all.

Wow. If I had heard three years ago that this guy would shortly be available at target.com for just under $50 shipped (using Red Card for 5% off, with a tax rate of under 4.25% delivered to my house), rather than spending $75+ on eBay for a sealed original Beast Machines version then, I would now be… hold on, doing a quick search… right; I would be spending $150+ on eBay for a sealed original Beast Machines version.

It was probably just a simple factory error. Maybe they’ll make a running change for the last 25 to come off the line. (Or they didn’t actually plan to use the other tooling and the artist made a typographical typical graphical error on the packaging.)

Hasbro has a bad habit of not showing us what is actually coming up, but showing us what they were thinking of doing but deciding not to. (For example: Alternators Tracks was supposed to have “spring loaded” rather than “manually slid” wrist guns; Generations Warpath had an alternate head tooling for Hardhead; etc., etc., etc.….)
