That is some Bandai-level multicolour injection molding there! Impressive!



This guy looks great. Their previous kits were a bit too teeny for me, but I'm much more interested in something of this size and detail. Will also be interesting to see how their Optimus compares to the Yolopark kit. I'd guess the Trumpeter kit will be much simpler but might have a nicer finish.

That said, pretty impressive that some of the 3rd-party figures look nearly this good while also transforming.

I didn't even clue in that the folded wings were multi-coloured injection. Shit, has Bandai even done transparent multi-injection? (maybe the RG Unicorns?) Trumpeter is really ambitious, makes me wonder what kind of experience the team behind these models has. Trumpeter must have brought in new people.

i really should get to building the Smart Kit Bee lol curious how the joints hold up considering Trumpeter is all about static military kits before

 

Only joints to be careful with are the ankles. I highly recommend using hot water on the feet during assembly since they are really rigid and you have to force the ball joint through blind. Otherwise the joints hold up fantastically.

 

I'll have my drill and brass rods ready I guess  

 

I'd definitely recommend avoiding it if possible. It was not fun. :I



Hopefully this bigger Bumblebee delivers a smooth construction experience.

I want to see the manual. I'm hoping the ankles being separate from the legs makes them easier to assemble than Bumblebee.

where you finding deposits? trying to google the 15cm figure seems to just be getting me tfw results for, well, this thread lol
