So after taking a month of custom to recharge I'm back making bots and first one back is another M.A.S.K. crossover custom this time it's Hurricane the belair of the group.

He's a heavy custom and my first ever body swap, his base figure is that of transformers Cybertron Downshift with a new body put on top of a 1/32 belair model kit I picked up from eBay. He has alot of mods here and there like new arm joints and the shoulders cut down, new head and a ball joint.

Thoughts? (P.S don't ask or talk about "why didn't you make the MASK the head)

Totally brilliant. Didn't even recognize it was Downshift at first. You've totally nailed these M.A.S.K. figures. Pure awesome.

At first I thought it was one of those walgreen off brand transformers. Had me fooled a second there!

Awesome work as usual! Did Downshift's width/wheelbase line up easily, or did you have to rework the proportions to fit the Chev?

I'm blown away by these, but I think this is my favourite so far. Are those Downshift's original wheels? They're a good likeness to the original M.A.S.K. car.

Woah! Now that is one sick retool! Love it!
I coincidentally just recently got the same Downshift figure from eBay.
I'm just doing a head swap and a paint touch up, tho.

EDIT: What did you do for the shoulder joints out of curiosity?

If ya on about the shoulder pads I cut them down and attached them to his arms but if ya on about the fact his arms swivel now, I used a TR Kup figure I had spare and cut off his swivel joint and spent a good while getting then to work with downshift IMG_20210514_165117.jpg IMG_20210514_165324.jpg

You're basically making prototypes for an entire subline of Transformers-M.A.S.K. Collaborative figures. Except handcrafted and handpainted with no Hasbro R&D budget.

Yeah, I was on about the joints.
    Nicely done.
I'm going to try it as soon as I have some spares to work with.
