It would have been a hard sell to a judge. It's not like it was literally Optimus Prime dressed in a Captain America costume. It was just red, white a blue...actually it wasn't even that from the pictures I've seen because they used silver instead of white. The only real connection was the shield and even that you'll notice that they changed. The outer red ring isn't a ring, but more of a "sprocket" shape. They knew exactly what to do to keep Disney at bay IMO.

Has Lewin commented at all about possibly making an oversize MP Megatron in this scale?

After owning this I think my dream figure is a Lewin MP Starscream using this new MP mold at this scale.... omg... shut up an take my money now!!!

I'd take all mp this size to be honest. Blaster as a full size boom box!

 

I made waterslide decals for mine.

Also painted the matrix metallic orange and made other fixes. The Autobot shoulder logo is a custom for instance. You can also see some fixes on the pelvis so it's all silver now and the yellow parts are separated right.

 

I want one of these. I prefer the clear colored plastic one but nobody in the US has one for sale

The eyes are a pain to get out of his head. Took 3 days to get the chrome off lol

 

I've been tempted by this thing for sure, it's only the obsolescence of the mold that held me back. But if they did MP Megs and/or MP44 I wouldn't be able to say no!

But my absolute ultimate dream figure would be an old school G1 Optimus Prime toy, oversized to this scale and with all the light-up features and premium finish etc
