Anyways, Ima take it as if we'll be getting sideways sometime in the next year or two so im happy w that news lol. My favorite Decepticon from the live action films. As for Grindor, kinda sucks that the brown paint looks more like mud than rust, guess thats something ill have to deal with.
Sideways is your favorite Decepticon? They only showed him in car mode, and cut him in half right away.
My main issue with ROTF Sideways is that he's not Armada / Cybertron Sideways. Yes I'm aware he's meant to be the same character, I mean designwise and actually having a personality.
Bayvers skids and mudflap are definitely canned! Hasbro doesn't want that image, lawsuit, or boycott! Let's just say Hasbro got off easy, if they tried that discrasful Bull Shit today, Hasbro as we know it would be no more. So I think Hasbro would like to pretend those two Bayvers characters never existed.
That's stupid. A boycott or lawsuit over what? Skids and MudFlap are fictional robot characters from another planet that copied pop culture at that time. They were pretty popular characters among all races at the time. It's not like they are putting them in the next movie. Making a toy of them now is not offensive, it is just a toy car that can make Hasbro money to complete a fans collection. What's wrong with that? I bet Skids and Mudflap would sell out as much as any other Studio Series characters.
They’re completely wrong, RoTF Sideways is not UT Sideways, he was almost meant to be Barricade actually. They are completely wrong as usual.
I know about the Barricade thing, I mean retroactively they consider ROTF Sideways to be the same guy as UT Sideways. Though at the time he was definitely just a nameslap.
I still own and rather like the Ice Cream truck Twins because it's a creatively executed toy, do the deluxe-class ones still hold up compared to other Studio Series figures? For the time being that may be the best option for those of you wanting a full cast.
Way to big. A compentent reason for Hasbro's reluctance to release more twins toys could possibly be the tuner mudflap fiasco.
Ah of course, I can imagine those two being out of scale with the rest of them. Has previous shelfwarming lead to Hasbro being reluctant to release more figures of a character before? Movie Bumblebee shelfwarmed a lot and yet Studio Series has like 7 different versions of him.
I’m not sure Ik bumblebee was on shelves everywhere but I think mainly because they overstocked. I still believe he sold quite a lot.
