That's a good point. That means there's potential room for both Armada characters to celebrate Armada's 20th anniversary and hopefully the remaining BW S1 cast to be in Evolution next year.

 

And the final piece of the puzzle, 2026's updated Silverbolt will be a retool of Silverbolt!

 

I dunno, TakaraTomy never did, like, a non-Rebirth face for ER Scorponok or a toy face for Siege Crosshairs...

True, but you frequently jump the gun and assume two bots will share a mold just because they have vaguely similar alt modes or transformations. That's like the Transformers version of shipping two characters who merely glanced at each other once.

 

That's pretty different though, Scorponok is a Titan and with very minor differences, those minor differences also apply to Crosshairs. These aren't the Legends days when a complete repaint and parts retool was common for giving as much accuracy as possible to the Japanese audience, we don't get those anymore since Takara and Hasbro work in tandem to make these definitive versions by default.

But Minerva and Go-Shooter aren't minor touch ups, they're entirely separate characters that had their vehicle modes completely altered in context, and those kinds of repaints and remolds have gone to Generations Selects now.

There's also the fact they were some of the main characters for Masterforce, and Minerva's a highly respected character for her status. It's not a question of if we'll get versions of them, but when and how. Siren is apparently already a Selects release so for all we know Go-Shooter is already being planned for the main line. (Would also line up with the current brand manager being a big of fan of Japanese G1)
