Nice! I have an Optimus mug but it’s a pain to drink from, this looks more user friendly.

 

I am curious about this mug.

 

How are you supposed to drink out of the grimlock mug ? 

 

Looks to be straw-only! Kind of annoying, but quite a few tiki mugs end up that way because of the design.

 

Actually this would be pretty interesting to have if its cheap it seems like I would just pick it up and use it as novelty but I don't know where they would possibly selling them.

 

Drinking beer out of a straw will get you wasted quick. Those tiki guys must know what they are doing, lol.

 

TBF most tiki mugs are designed for those ridiculously sugary and potent mixed drinks you see at goofy tiki bars. I'm not usually a fan, but I don't know if I'd turn down the opportunity to hit a Singapore Sling or a Mai Tai out of my old friends Optimus and Grimlock.

 

In all honesty Ive never been to a Tiki bar. I dont even think they exist in my city. Sounds more like something more likely to find in Disney World or on the west coast of the US.

 

Grimlock looks adorable! I will probably by two(one to use and one for display xD)

 

There's a couple near me in Detroit that are pretty fun, but I'm still pretty weak to liquor (and don't take sugar too well) so I can only have, like, one before I need a beer or a glass of water or something  

 

Tiki drinks made well are not super sugary and are actually quite potent-- there's an old Barbadian rhyme to get the balance right: "One of Sour, Two of Sweet, Three of Strong, Four of Weak." Stick to that, and you're in for a good time.

But yeah, tiki drinks from non-tiki bars are often full of grenadine and other sickly sweet syrups that kinda ruin the experience.

Bee's mug shot is apropos for a Tiki Mug, but OP's eyes make him looks like a perv.

I've always liked these, but never liked the color. If I got one I'd have to paint it.
