I put this image together for Unicron, but I think you should be able to mentally transfer some of its relevance.

    Ok, let me rephrase...

Southeast Asia/Oceania getting the new stuff while I hardly find ANYTHING in the stores near me; minus Cyberverse and/or R.E.D. they’re usually flat out DEVOID of TFs apart from a few random Kingdom Deluxes.

As of late, my luck has been absolute S**T when it comes to finding new figures in the wild :cry

If you're still looking for allicon, check BBTS.
They posted a restock of the gator coming in November.
You also might want to check other online stores.
Some of them may be getting restock as well.

I hated that show, so I rarely ever supported its merchandise.

But yesterday during the Roadrage thread I mentioned that Tracks mold could also make a decent retool for Knockout. But I don't believe that Wheeljack's mold would be bad for a G1 version of a TF: PRIME Knockout either.

Would you have been extra excited for Wave 3's Dlx's if they did do this?

Bruh, do you think (a) nothing new is getting delivered to North America and (b) it’s Hasbro’s fault that brick and mortar care 0.001% about restocking toys?

This is the same ole song and dance. Casual strolls to the toy aisle are meant for casual fans.

Plenty of new stock is arriving in the States but Hasbro can’t magically make it appear in your preferred locations and let it sit on shelves until you arrive to browse.

Imagine only collecting what you can find by waddling down the toy aisle in the local megaretailer!

Enjoy your shelf warmers I guess!

Stop trying to find them in the wild. It's a pandemic. Ordering online is what you do. If you're one of those people who is afraid to order online, you're going to have to get over it. I don't want to hear you're afraid, get over it or do without.

It's even funnier when people assume we always want new molds instead of new G1 characters.

Although I'd prefer a Voyager class version of Lockdown, I strongly believe that a retool of Wheeljack's mold (even slightly taller if possible) to make a decent Lockdown would've been more eyebrow raising to Hasbro's 3rd quarter numbers than what they're predicting now...

Well um... Since the budget in question for Wave 3 deluxes clearly didn't go into Track's ankles and feet or Scorponok's height, I wonder how much of the precious budget was invested in this:

That's how kids get in to it. Maybe that's why so many BW fans enjoy Inferno and Scavenger, it was a toy they all had a fair shot at owning.

When I was a kid, I got super lucky to have gotten the Protectobot gift set. Was it on my Xmas list? No. Did I want to be a doctor/EMT/fireman/cop when I grew up? No. It was simply what my folks found.

So many of us and so many other kids have a favorite TF simply because it was a shelf warmer. Bless those children who grow up to love Earthrise Grapple. I doubt many of them dream about becoming architects.

My first Transformer was Getaway. From there, I remember getting a Seacon (I think Snaptrap) and being excited that there was a combiner. So my dad helped me hunt down the components and for Christmas I got Tenta-Kill and could finally build him.

We like what we like because it was often what we had as kids. No doubt. Some kid this year is having his first exposure to TFs and falling in love with the Fossilizers. They're going to grow up hoping for more modular guys and be happy if/when the line explodes to do more of it.

I think Predacon Megatron sounds better too, but my brain immediately stuffs it into the BuddyL ChargerTron theme.

Or in some cases, what we could not afford to get as kids. I do feel fortunate to have got the original Omega Supreme and Fortress Maximus, but that was only because my Grandparents spoiled me. But that was ok, I had two of the "biggest and best", instead of 10-20 smaller ones. I never was able to complete a whole combiner though, and to this day I am obsessed with them. I enjoy collecting every combiner I can.

I am unsure why the fossilizers fascinated me. It's rare that I am so intrigued by new Transformers ideas, but I just thought they were awesome from the outset. Now knowing that they have a combiner form is just the cherry on top. Although I was going to attempt it on my own. After all I did it with the Siege Weaponizers, and am just one short of an Autobot Modulator combiner, but I don't think they'll be releasing any more of those.

I have no idea if Mirage, Dirge and Thrust were shelfwarmers back in the day but Thrust is not only my favorite conehead, but my fav over Starscream and the seekers because of those being the ones I owned as a kid.

Similarly, TRU reissue Dirge was a big shelfwarmer, which was why I got him as a really little kid--and also why he's both my favorite Seeker and G1 character.
