Mine looked the same way but for me at least, I could see by looking at the sides of those pieces that the actual channel was wide enough it was just the very top as in your picture that looked like it wasn't. I just gorilla handed it a bit and it all squeezed together fine. Equal parts extra paint and soft plastic worked in my favor.

Got my shipping notice from TCP for those arm boys. I know that deadend has a myriad of issues, what should I be on the lookout for?

Yeah I had to widen those slots with a nail file as well. This seems to be a common issue.

Check the slots on the underside of the hood if there's any excess plastic. I had to take an exacto knife and clean the slots out as there was extra plastic on mine. Hope it helps

They look so asymmetrical, I'm wondering if they actually forgot to mold them in, and the factory is having to carve them out by hand on every copy?

Got Pillage and Contain today. Pillage's engine block didn't tab in for vehicle mode until I put the center of the engine down first then put the legs around it. The spoiler is also kinda finicky.

Contain had a ton of problems. The wrists would not swivel until I added some silicon oil, and even then I had to use pliers to get one of them to move. The hood wouldn't sit flush until I removed some excess plastic from the tab. And the roof simply doesn't like to tab together. Plus his left ankle is incredibly loose.

That sucks about your Contain. Guess I got pretty lucky as I've had absolutely no issues with mine.

Where are you guys thinking of putting Dragstrip's robot mode Decepticon symbol?
There's not really enough space besides the wheels on his shoulder. Putting it on his bicep would make it visible in alt mode, which isn't ideal. Forearm?

Tab the 2 pieces that form the back of the leg onto the cars FIRST.

Once they are in place, THEN tab the front piece that connects the 2 leg pieces together.

Will you be selling the forearm blocks by separately as well?

Got the limb boys to swear their allegiance. I usually prefer a uniform look but the white outline symbols didn't look right on Dragstrip and Breakdown, and the plain ones didn't look good on Dead End and Wildrider. So I decided to go with a mixed look.

The engine block slits on Dragstrip, the roof slits on Deadend and a few other of those slits were too narrow on my copies. I just used a knife to bring them back to their intended size and all fits well now.

I did also turn around the hands on Deadend in the transformation as it didn't seem to fit with the hands in their normal position.

Yeah, I do as well. Makes me think that is the intended orientation.

They really are the best 'Con emblems they have. I just wished they'd do them smaller.

Be careful when attaching Dead End to Menasor. The grey paint on his abdomen is prone to scratching.

Gonna have to buy some paint to touch this up..

Hmmm, I don't think I bothered turning the head 180° when I transformed him.
