Do you guys know how many 5* shards can we hope to get this weekend?

 

None, unless you count duplicate 4* bots. It isn't a 5* event this week.

 

Damn. I thought it was. Oh well, not a big deal. 4* shards are always useful.

 

5* events a quite rare. On their Discord they usually announce when it happens, or you can read it in the newsletter.

Just to be sure, these new bots means we're gonna get bw2 combiners soon? I'm asking because even tho i joined the decepticons to get Predaking, having a magnaboss combiner would beat Predaking... Kinda.

So, any chance we'll also get a chance to use the opposite faction combiners sooner or later? I don't want to regret the faction i chosed  

 

If - as seems likely - they give the Autobot faction Magnaboss, it's likely we on the 'con side of the fence will get Tripredacus.

As for being able to use the other side's combiners... that could be a wait-and-see deal.

 

They've been pretty consistent in saying that the software limitations won't allow opposite faction combiners, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

You get them too? I've been trampled in the last few attacks. One squad even had only 4 bots, all 5*. It was insane.

 

Very frequently... My base is level 17 and I can barely fend off an eight 5 star bot attack squadron, but most of the time I just can't...

 

Same here. I got also level 17, everything upgraded, a level 19 Omega Supreme, several high level outpost bots, G-metal cores... and sometimes I still get trampled.

 

To be fair, your base design is very compact and could use an update. The top teams in this game will always find ways to beat most bases, the trick is to make it difficult and try and protect against 1 or 2 popular metas. My base is maxed out and gets beat a lot too, but I still get some wins even with at Level 10 three star bruticus combiner on defense.

 

I see a lot of Bruticus on defense. Is he that good? I have Optimus Maximus but on offense I find him very sub-par.

 

My base is very compact and that is why is good (for the most part, it is designed to be good againts almost anything but is not strong against any particular squadron), "top teams" win most of the time due to pure brute force (money) not strategy. My base has a survive success of 60% lately

Yes and no, all depends on your base set up. In my base I have a 4 star Bruticus with his level 3 star ability active.

 

60 % survive rate sounds pretty good. On a good week I find myself getting 6/7 of successful defenses, but bad weeks are about 50/50. It will probably not get much better than that, as it is a bit of luck of the draw on who attacks you. If it holds up in wars, than you can probably hold off on adjusting. Top teams will always be top teams regardless of money/time spent. They will be the first ones to crack any new defensive updates that show up in future updates.
