I like the mouth plate head more, but I also like the MP head, since the headsculpt is the only indicator she's female, I'm okay that she has the feminine face. Quit acting like an elitest over your preferred head design for a toy robot.

Edit: your also not being attacked. I gave you an answer as to why she has a mouth and you decided to get defensive about it.

 

Counter argument: Black Zarak was a JG1 on-screen character and likely strongly pushed by Takara for release. I think Siege Jetfire was a strong seller and might even have gotten a second production run. Those are the reasons I think those molds got repaints. My gut is that Siege Ultra Magnus was a "warm" seller for Hasbro. I think they always had an earth-mode in mind for that figure so it's not like they gave him one because he was a hot seller.

TLDR- I don't think Ultra Magnus was a burning hot figure amongst fans in WFC (I could be wrong!) and thus, no repaints. If the WFC Magnus mold was more popular, I feel very confident we would have gotten the Delta Magnus colors by now. Compare Magnus to Siege Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide and Sideswipe-- they all got new repaints/retools this year. Poor Magnus got left behind, no love for the armored guy.

I disagree on Jetfire at all, I think $ 120 will be a lot if they can finish selling the first print. Surely the extremist collectors will all get a copy, but at that price they and a few others.

 

The Chad G1 Road Rage vs the Virgin MP/Kingdom Road Rage

 

Yeah, supposedly Road Rage is exclusive to Target (like Earthrise Thrust was), but she's not supposed to be a Red Card only item (otherwise it would have mentioned "Red Card" in her leaked Target inventory listing).

There's supposedly both a Knockout R.E.D. (non-transforming) figure and a transforming version in next year's Transformers: Legacy line.

Road Rage is a non-character who's largest role is her bio, does it really matter if it's accurate to the diaclone figure or the like 3 panels she appeared in the background? This is getting childish at this point.

 

If it wasn't in Sunbow, it's up for interpretation in Hasbro's eyes. Hell, even if it was(I'm looking at you, Mirage's shoulder cannon), we still might get something inaccurate.

When he pulled the "I'm being attacked!" Card I just couldn't take his shit seriously anymore.

She's been shown with a mouth plate and without one just about evenly so far. Hell I'm pretty sure one comic showed her with both in one issue. I kinda assume she has the "retractable mouth plate" thing going on, which I normally don't like but feel works for her.

Along those lines, he also got 3 releases in three lines over three years. I'm going to say that everyone who wants UM has him. But I'd say you nailed it when you said the declining numbers probably got him and Delta left behind in Hasbros eyes.

 

Haven't read past the first hardcover, but she's tough and makes a good duo with Nautica.
