Well at least I can actually expect Capcom to do something with their franchises. I still don't really understand what happened to Konami that they started chasing pachinko machines and mobile with such fervor.
How about a PS4 Complete Collection that includes the 6 BN games, Network Transmission, and Star Force?
I was just thinking this morning, Capcom we have compilations of most other franchises, where's the Legacy Collection of Battle Network for the Switch so I can finish my collection? It's the perfect system for all the GBA and DS releases of that series.
You've heard of X9 rumors!?!? Capcom likes money so I'm sure they'll publish a new Mega Man title in the future it's just a waiting game (IMO).
Yeah, I've heard some conflicting things about it. Still up in the air about it. The only thing I really know is coming is DMC6
I believe a new Ace Attorney was in those huge leaks a while back(nothing really noteworthy in terms of content, just a confirmation saying it exists)
Rockman Corner: How Over-Ambition and Mismanagement Killed Mega Man Universe This was an interesting little article about why this project went kaput.
A lot of that sounded similar to how Mighty Number 9 went down(which is probably not a good thing). A lot of negativity towards the art direction as well, this was around the time Inafune was really hard towards the Western direction of the industy and wanted to make his games like that. Evidently, just like most of Capcom's western efforts it did more harm than good. After the success of things like Dreams, Mario Maker and other game builders, I think a lot of people would be even more open to the idea of a Megaman Maker, considering they re-evaluate the game's art direction
He also went hard in a more Japanese direction with Rockman Rockman, but fans didn't like that either.
Being in the industry long enough, you should know what eye candy is. It's not Murr Powrrfull Graffix, it's just not Vaguely Retro, it's just art that is well done and pleasing to look at. I know not everyone was a fan of MM11's art style, but it was easy enough on the eyes where you could play it and enjoy it. Rockman Universe... Wasn't that. There are very few games out there that can get away with a subpar art style and still deliver good gameplay. The two aren't really THAT close in nature, but it's a sure sign of how much care and effort has gone into the game. No one wants to play a halfbaked, crappy game.
