    Those are both the same design. Just one is drawn by Guido Guidi and one by Alex Milne.

    No Roche designed most of the characters for season 1, Milne was just on main art duty. At least that's how I understand it.

    I go with the 1969 Ferrari 512S Berlinetta Speciale. The only car I know of that can do this:

    If not that one (since it was never a production car), then a LaFerrari. Hot Rod looks more like a Ferrari than any other make of car to me.

    If he weren't to have a futuristic alt mode, I can see him being a De Tomaso Pantera, albeit a more customized one.

    On a slightly more serious note, I'd like if Rodimus was either a semi-truck like in Energon, though only if Optimus's altmode is something else to make them different enough, or something similar to that concept mars rover.

    Though, if we have a more Armada Hot Shot/Bumblebee esc for Hot Rod in the beginning, I could see Rodimus simply being a suped up armored car. Like a gaudy batmobile.

    Yeah, though what energon did with Optimus being a flatnose truck and Rodimus being a longnose truck also works

    Depending on the year or nation it was sold in, this VW Beetle is called the Sterling Nova or Sebring. It is a kit car from the 70s and 80s but the headlights and other mods are just digibashed in. You can find more pictures of the car and bash here: Digibash: - REAL LIFE RODIMUS CAR??
