Picked up Red Skull and Dormammu from Target today.

 

One of my local Targets has the villains wave in stock, but is holding it in electronics. It’s one figure per customer from the assortment. Not one of each, one period.

Stupid.

 

Wow, that is unbelievably stupid.

 

That's kind of surprising they're doing that with a wave that isn't exclusive and will inevitably be restocked more than a few times. Target once again shows that they're manned by incompetent buffoons.

 

Man, I hope we can be able to buy multiples of Ultron.

 

Just had a second store do the same but this time pointed out the wave has a figure you build, so you need to buy them. And they are unique characters, not a solid case pack.

He relented and let me buy them.

 

Cool. Glad you were able to get them to see reason at least.

 

Yea, this is completely new behavior for these stores.

Normally I wouldn’t even be in Target to get these but Amazon has been super weird with this wave. Wanted to secure ASAP.

 

So far it’s three repaints with a new head and a Wolverine with (is it just the weapon x torso with new paint) a new torso and head.



Either it’s just a wave of repaints or the last couple figures will be all new.

 

Think it's going to be a retro carded wave?

 

I definitely have a place for the villains wave and Hasbro can start on that classic Annilhilus any time.



I haven't shown this shelf lately but not much changes about it. Still just need a classic Dr. Strange.

 

Are these showing up on the Target app as in stock? Nothing in my area yet.

 

I've been looking for a good deal on the original release for a bit now, glad they're going to re-release him. Looking at the color scheme and him being a re-release, makes me thinks these reveals will be in a vintage wave. Was kinda hoping it would be a baf wave, but no complaints!

 

...oh god, I might talk myself into using this as a "1st appearance" Omega for a "first/early appearance" shelf I've been contemplating. There are some minor details that wouldn't be quite right, but eh close enough.

Either way, I'd be good with these reveals being for a vintage wave if that's the case because that'd make Beefcake Wolvie and this Omega optional for me, instead of automatic purchases to complete some new BAF.

 

Found Sam Wilson Cap today, bought him but left John Walker. No others in sight. I don't like the bright new Omega Red, i found the Sauron wave one for under $40 at a hobby shop this weekend. may go back and get it later this week if it's still there.

 

So AoA Sabertooth will be using the Colossus buck, and Wild Child uses the Symbiote Spider-Man buck?

Can't wait!  

 

While we were out for my birthday we stopped at two Targets. One had everyone except Red Skull while the other had absolutely nothing.



Not a fan of LD's arms as I feel like the elbow pegs are going to snap.
