You'll likely have to drill it/tap it with a screw extractor, then replace it with a new same-thread screw and washer since you likely won't find one with that head type.

Put a rubber band between the screw head and the screwdriver. It's a known trick to remove stripped screws.

Here's a quick video of a few things you could try. Rubber band trick included.

Take the good one to some place like Ace Hardware, if you have them. They're locally owned, so you'll have better luck getting help with a match than at a big box store like Lowe's or Home Depot. If that fails, you'll need to measure it and google screw finder...

That looks like a screw commonly used in computer builds, so if you have a friend who might have drawers full of random desktop/laptop screws, check with them too :)

For me I could care less that he’s broken, his torso just sits in his combiner slot. His combiner playability is still good at least.

Then again I do have a spare Axle CIB which I acquired before I got the whole set from someone else. So maybe that’s why I don’t feel the need to fix him? LOL

No luck at Ace. There's a fastener specialty shop here in town I will try tomorrow. Couldn't find a extractor small enough for this size.

In my experience, you won't find small screws like that at a hardware store. You don't typically need anything that small for home repair jobs. You need parts from machine/electronics suppliers.

I'm going to fastener manufacturer tomorrow. They can make the size I need if necessary. It will cost a bit but better than nothing.

Was able to get the size needed to replace the bolt.(2/56 x 1/4 inch). Now I need to find a way to get the stripped bolt out.

Ugh, I was just pulling these guys out of storage and tried to transform Axle and yup, he split in half. Either that plastic is too weak for the area or it ages poorly.

To this day I only have Katana and Himed out of their boxes and displayed in bot mode. Haven't had the courage to transform them yet nor gotten the rest of the team out of the package for fear of breakage.

Yeah I've never combined mine - not even the Knock off Overscales either. I might buy a second Motorcycle one day and leave it in vehicle mode as it's most that one that is the problem.

I don't know what made Make toys use a material that crumbles like that.

Ouch, I hope you didn't pay over $200 for that set, I would have at least gone with the oversized KO from Yes-Model. I don't recall any breakage issues with that set.

It's not that I have anything against TFC Prometheus (I've been tempted to pick it up several times myself) but since Yes Model released their oversized KO for under $200 (at least through showZstore), spending more than $200 on that set seems like an unfair deal, at least to me.

Yeah it's a shame. I've transformed and combined Axle a couple of times and thankfully everything is still intact. However I'm tempted to pick up the OS KO from Yes Model to be the one I fiddle around with.

I think there's some issues with certain Maketoys/Fansproject plastics. I've had issues with Diesel, this Axle, and Steel Core. When Axle snapped I wasn't even really putting stress on that part.

I paid a bit more than that but am very happy with the set, even if they're bigger therem I'd like. An oversized one would've been way too big for my collection

It's not plastic that breaks, that piece is diecast that is very brittle. I had mine break, but I was lucky to get a replacement from Maketoys before they went dark. So far the replacement seems stronger than the original.

Does anyone know what's going on with the reissue? I don't follow 3ptf too often these days and I haven't heard a peep about the reissue.

    Thanks in advance

I'd also like to know about this - Maketoys' website shut down Nov. 29th 2019, and their last Facebook post was May 11, 2020, so I'm kinda concerned.

I was an idiot and thought I ordered a Guardia set, but it was very clearly stated that Axle was not included. Total brain fart. Also, I think I was drunk. So anyway, now I need an Axle. :D

Hello and Happy New Year to everyone !!!!
I'm a newbie and I have a question please. I'm looking forward on buying this figure....if I can find it.
Because its very difficult, for me at least, to read all 201 pages I wanted to ask if all kind of fixes or improvements all gathered somewhere so I can check them.
    Thanks in advance !!!!!!!
