The shity thing is that none of those projects matter, because the characters will be dead by the ST time or any tension or danger they run in their shows will be irrelevant because they will survive until the ST.

    I fucking hate prequels...

If was the ST that didn't matter, then they wouldn't be prequels. Hence one of several reasons people want it axed. There's finally good stuff going on in Star Wars again, but the Sequel Trilogy is putting a damper on all of it.

If you include the entire PT as a whole along with the Clone Wars it works just as well because of how the PT was trashed during the time of the ST until now.

I can only tolerate just having prequels for so long. At least when the PT was happening and RoTJ was suppose to be the "end of the sagas, the force is balanced, etc", they still explored what's next through other media. Besides, no matter how definite they claim the end of the timeline is, sooner or later Disney will want to market the continuation for probably more movies, and if the ST actors stay firm in not wanting to come back, they can always have a larger time-skip where everyone's already dead and left in legend. I also think the temptation to have an official "Episode X, XI, and XII" will ultimately prove too sweet to The Mouse in the long-run.

We need a bingo sheet for these clickbait headlines we keep cycling through...

Can I just say how baffling it is that the whole Rey/Emperor connection was invented to explain how our heroine is so OP, yet somehow the Force just inexplicably skipped a generation?

I'd also like to note, that its interesting his forceless son was able to escape Exegol. Feel like he'd be half a prisoner there and under tight surveillance for monitoring.

Even more so that he was able to hide away for the length that he did.

Well, it’s not so much genetics as it is the failure of the cloning process, I suppose?

The judge should have made a court order on Disney to make ST Non Canon.

Like I get it, you don't like the films. But even as a joke that makes no sense.

Here’s the thing. Mandalorian doesn’t have to be a prequel to the ST. It’s a big galaxy, and the ST doesn’t touch on the Mandalorians at all. It barely, just barely, touches on the criminal underworld. It involves a small section of the outer rim.

It wouldn’t be hard to write the Mandalorian so it’s just off in its own world doing it’s own thing. Make Moff Gideon an Imperial splinter that’s separate from the first order. Have Grogu encounter Ashoka.

Ironically it’s the moment we all loved the most that tied it in to the ST.

Especially since it was the prequels that broke the whole thing in the first place. Let’s start with that.
