You have twice come into this thread to just spew your shit and pick fights with people. The first time was Gwen, the second time was me. So I'm going to be straight here.

I'll be plain with you, Nova: I don't like your behavior or the ideas you hold. I could care less about you, personally. You regurgitate the same talking points that embittered, bigoted nerds have been since 2015 and expect us to not call you out for it. I don't care if you're cis or GNC or trans or whatever, because you keep bringing your views into this space and act to propagandize for a certain point of view. You repeatedly skirt the no politics rule to do this. All in all, I consider you a bad actor in this community.

But I am well aware you are not the problem, you are merely the symptom. There's a disease in our culture, and it preys on young people like a lion, looking to devour them. It stokes their worst traits, telling that the outrage and suffering of others is funny or to be ignored as hysteria. Put plainly, bigotry is sold as a solution to people like you. I'm not going to "psychoanalyze" you. This is just me making my observations known. You've fallen into a pit of vipers, Nova. And I pray you claw your way out of it.

First of all, hello - bi cis male here, though to be honest I'm still working on figuring ALL that out. But glad there's a thread on here of (mostly) supportive people.

I had an essay ready to go but hey, you said it better than I could have. If Novaburnhilde rears her head in this thread again it's probably best if we just collectively ignore her existence and pretend she isn't here - she's just another unhappy, hateful person who has no fulfillment or joy in her life that isn't derived from causing unhappiness in others, no doubt a side effect of all the Ayn Rand she's read. She's not as complex or interesting or as smart as she's so desperately trying to seem, and the best bet going forward is just blocking and muting her like you would any other troll, because that's all she is.

That’s it - greatest post in the thread. Everybody else go home.

People also need to remember that the "Ignore" feature exists, and is an excellent way to improve your experience on this site

I haven't seen it, but from what I've read about it, it seems to have been made with a lot of sensitivity and respect. I'd give it a watch.

I myself am just a humble gay woman critter, but every gay male friend I have ADORES that movie and most seem to be deeply touched by it on some level or another.

Straight cis dude here, but I'm here to show my support. Most of my friends have come out, or already started off, as some form of not straight anyways, so I have no excuse not to at least try and be an ally. And I don't know if this contributes anything of value, but I'm pretty sure Wallace Wells is one of my favorite fictional characters in anything ever written.

So with June having finally arrived, does anyone have plans for pride month this year? (Insofar as plans are possible, what with the 'rona and all.) I don't think I'll be going out to do anything, but something me and my friends did last year that we'd like to do again this year is a little Transformers pride art project that we came up with. We drew line art of our favorite pairings or headcanons and gave them to each other to color, with pride flag color palettes as an option. Is that something that people here would be interested in trying, maybe even with non-TF stuff? It could be a fun homemade collaborative coloring book. :D
...Is that coherent at all? I'm really bad at explaining things. :lol  I'll simplify it a little:
Draw picture --> Trade picture --> Color picture --> Picture done --> Happy :thumb
We could start our own art thread for it.

Personally, I wouldn't be able to contribute any art or colouring but I'm sure we'd all (or at least I would) love to see some of the finished artwork, if you're able (or willing) to post them here.

Of course! Obviously nobody's obligated to participate and I don't want to rush anybody who wants to, I just think it could be a fun thing to do on TFW for pride month and to let people be creative. I can start an art thread and anyone can join in if they feel like it. :D

Just wanted to pop in and say that in his eponymous series, Loki confirms he is bisexual on a planet with a blue, pink, and purple color scheme. Very subtle Disney, but appropriately timed.

:D !! Disney has a very spotty history with queer representation, but I'm glad that they're taking a step in the right direction here.

How could anyone imagine Loki was str8, cis, or ANYTHING?
    Read Norse mythology.
My man changed his sex on whims, slept with men and women, mothered several children from his own womb, and fathered several more from his own seed.

Loki simply did not give a shit. Loki did what they wanted.
