The MSRP was a bit less buying from Amazon Japan from a Japanese address. Even though you can no longer buy it from AJ outside of Japan you still can from inside. Yes. Begged off? I don't follow.
They woundn't take my orders. Two of them. I can get all those stuff in Jp. But not this. The amazonjp purchase I made surprised me.
Wow, that sucks man. How many US peeps do we have here that got theirs from AJP? Mine arrived with no problems, I still don't know how.
Mine arrived into the Boston MA area no issues. Of course, it was front face down, no visible windows, shrunk with a piece of cardboard to it. Not that that impacts xrays of course. Might have just gotten lucky this time.

I ordered mine through Anime Export and it arrived with no problems. After shipping it was $84, which I'm not even mad about as shipping was DHL and it arrived within 6 days from Japan.
Mine will be here Monday from Anime Export. It already passed the customs hub and is here in the states. Edit arrived!!

After Amazon Japan sending my original back when DHL / customs wouldn't deliver, it finally arrived (chose the slow shipping) via a forwarding service after reordering it (at a lower MSRP) from AJP.
I hate to exhume an old thread, but there's no others discussing this. I just got the gun a few days ago and it's very cool and exactly what I needed. Didn't have any issues with shipping besides the high cost. I had some gift cards from Christmas burning a hole in my pocket, so I grabbed this guy for a cosplay idea. There are very few G1 Megatron gun toys and no CHUG versions, so besides the two official MP's and the various 3rd party options, there's nothing else. I wasn't going to take a fragile $250 MP (which I have) to a convention as a prop. I also have the 4th party KO, but I don't want to scuff up such a good piece. After examining the water gun, it's great and the size is perfect. My only issue that the scope is VERY loose and floppy and if you point the gun downwards, it will slide off. There's no locking mechanism (that I know of), so aside from putting electrical tape on the slot to tighten it up, I'm not sure if there's another viable fix.
I'm glad you like it. I actually imported one when it was first released, but then decided I had no real purpose for it in my collection so I sold it to someone locally about a year ago. I kind of wish I had opened it and got to at least experience what it was all about.
