Definitely would. That's a shame. I know they're a small business and have to compete but there has to be a slightly better way than this. Again, I cannot wait for the collectibles bubble to burst. Same with computer parts. There's no reason for a graphics card to cost $5,000.00 when it's not a workstation card like a Quadro.

 

who's charging $5,000 for a video card? Last June I got a rtx 2060 for $300; which I believe that was the going rate for that card then.

Although I have seen the new 3060 going for a mark up.

 

Hanover Target has been a nightmare. When I was looking for Skylynx, the girl working toys went in the back and took a picture of it on a skid, showed it to me and said she didn't have time to get it out. Talked to the manager and he just said he wasn't going to get it. All of this is after Target's website showed they had it in stock and when I called they verified they had it. They told me I should have done the in-store order but last time I did that they only had 3 of the 5 things I ordered when they told me the order was ready for pickup. Then took 5 days for them to charge back my card since they process it for the full amount instead of informing me that they really didn't have it.

 

That's absolutely insane. Complaining to corporate clearly does nothing. In a way, Target's worse than Walmart. Walmart is run by incompetence and ignorance on a lot of levels, Target's being run on apathy. Walmart has an excuse (to some degree) and Target doesn't. That's just absolutely disgusting to me. (By no means is this a defense of Walmart, they're completely worthless on so many levels.)

 

Redmart is worse than Bluemart in the fact that they act like they're the more elite place to shop, but no one in store can give you the same answer, and my experiences have been generally unpleasant.

Bluemart, when a worker says "IDK" I can believe them because of how lackluster the company handles their business from top to bottom. It's just people stocking whatever. Redmart made a statement that they would fill the gap, for collectors, that TRU left behind and so far they have failed on so many levels.

Their pre-ordering system is garbage, I know more people who ended up having their orders cancel on them, this is if you actually managed to add a sought after item to your cart beating bots along the way. Then they constantly check your account for funds, looking like a withdrawal, every week until the item ships... and this isn't even walking into a store where you deal with everything from items on a shelf they can't sell you due to "street dates", corporate telling you to go buy an item in a specific store, to the store saying they don't have it, or can't sell it.

Last, crap attitude workers. I had a girl use the F-bomb on me when I asked where I can find computer duster, reported it, and nothing can be done because she technically is not a Redmart employee. Like WTF?

I have come to place where I won't ask for assistance, call the store, or do anything that involves talking to these people. I walk in, see if they have anything good, then walk out.

At least Bluemart has come into a place where you know upfront It's a worthless cause, but once in a while, I will find merch.

 

Ohhhh man you have been out of the loop for some time my friend. Just go to eBay and look up any graphics card. Soooo many over priced scalpers, fake posts, scams, and more. It is insane. You can not even just go buy one. You need to be on constant alerts, feeds, twitch stream, all kinds of tools to help but it can sometimes come down to luck.
